Dealer bs'ing?
After driving aggressively for a little bit, sometimes I hear a "rattling/tin can with rocks" noise near the transmission. I can only hear it when it's in 1st and 2nd gear on low RPMs. Also, the tincan sound is the loudest when I turn the car off.
I had this checked out by 2 NISSAN Dealerships but both say that the sound is normal and the car is perfectly fine.
I don't know if they are BSing to avoid fixing the car ( I have PowerTrain warranty) or it's that dual flywheel or the natural loud transmission noise that a lot of 06 350Z have.
Your input is very appreciated, Thanks

My '06 does it too. Scared the poopies right out of me the first time I heard it, but I have checked and re-checked everything. Clutch is still WELL within factory spec for wear, and cats/heat shields are all tight.
Just a normal noise it makes.
Just rev higher or get a louder exhaust.

Saw in another thread where the lash between the gears in the transmission is what causes the noise, but it quiets down tremendously at 2k-ish RPMs. Coincides with what I've found on my car, at least.
