Default hydro e-brake +unplugged ABS = no speedometer. any help?

Its a 04 z.
Yesterday i installed my PBM hydro ebrake. and in doing do you have to disable ABS for this brake to work in the Z. To disable ABS i just unplugged the harness going into the ABS block. Now my speedo doesnt work...

Not sure why this would effect my speedo, but it does

nice to hear about drift modifications!

I have not done a hydro ebrake install, there are several threads about it. The one thing that connects the speedo and ABS systems is that they both run off of the wheel-speed sensors. there are other ways to disable ABS than unhooking that whole harness.

In my car I have just one wheelspeed sensor that went out, and that knocked out ABS and VDC but not the speedo. Maybe put some of them back in, or check the threads about ABS disable.

The Z does not got thru the transmission. My speedo still worked with the LS1/Th400 in it. I run an aftermarket speedo now since I removed the ABS.

After plugging in the ABS harness my speedo works again. To turn ABS off, i disabled part of the pink fuse next to the battery.

The reason it wont start is because u pulled the entire fuse. That pink fuse controlls abs and ignition. Just snip the two 30 amp fuses under that clear cover and ur good to go. Just make sure you dont cut the ignotiin one. Just look at ur fuse cover
