NZC Come out and lets get the club some more exposure!!!

I have been wanting to try auto cross and see what its all about and beat on my car a little bit so I am going out to try on OCT 9th at CDC Bowie to do it.

Mike can you chime in with the details and the prep work that I should be doing??

 

CDC (Capital Driving Club) is relatively small, but friendly group. They have loaner helmets, instructors, and allow ride-a-longs. The lot is at Bowie Baysox stadium (Prince Georges Stadium).

For those curious about the upcoming Cumberland event this weekend.....registration is open until tomorrow through myevents. This is the entry list so far....

I will be at this one as a gear up for the BMW NCCA season finale on the 23rd. I'm in the top 3 in points in my class so I have a chance to take home a trophy.

Also, if we get a few to come out. I'll make myself available for ride-a-longs. If we get 6-7 runs I will use ~4 for you guys to ride with me.

The horsepower part of the index is measured at the wheels. Be honest. If you have bolt-ons (03-06) you are 250-350. Stock under 250.

Also, I always run in Heat 2. Most guests run in heat 4. So you should be able to ride with me and vice versa.

 

I'll be in NYC that weekend... wish this was a different one so I could get my feet wet as well.
