Fun run today. Although a very simple track. Too bad another car crashed at the Bowie Stadium.

This time? A really expensive BMW.... I think it was a 5 or 7 series.

It was an M6....ugly incident and very hard hit. Lots of issues with my Z today. SES light and possibly the demise of one of my front DA Koni's. I'll look into it tomorrow.

No pics that I know of. Collapsed the rear suspension, banged up the rear diff, a bit of body damage, airbags deployed, and both passenger side wheels destroyed. Whole lot of money.

 

^ suddenly my blown struts don't seem so bad. KW lifetime warranty ftw! SOOOO lazy to put the stockers on.

I hope they are okay.

 

I have to send my fronts out.....the passenger front is in bad shape. I still collected an easy FTD with the car in limp mode and the beat up strut, though.

It was a short, very easy course. Some people were closer to me than they usually are. I'm happy to take FTD by more than a second on a 30s course.

Vtchang, we going to out dodging cones in the next month?

Also, Roberto has some talent. 2nd ever autocross and only a little under 4s of my pace. Once he smooths his steering inputs out and slows down (yes slows down) he will be pretty quick.

Nice results!! I love the bowie parking lot. It's pretty fast for me when I go there. I don't like going by those curbs though! Always scares me!
