Default My new 350z Enthusiast 6spd

Yep, Got her today/night haha. Wow LOVE IT. Great car! The handling I got to test out a little on the way home (not broken in yet so cant get on it).
I guess coming from my IS300 I need to learn to fully drive this car because I kept over steering with it, not used even with my IS's old suspension setup to this kinda of handling.

The power band is awesome! I always thought my IS w/ VVT-i kept my torque up but this has so much more its car to balance the clutch, speaking of the clutch, its super stiff intill about 3 inches or so, and then it just gives way and whoosh my foot is down.(need to get used to that!)

Oh yeah haha its a 06 Enthusiast (so none of that VDS computer controlled driving crap!) the color is that like Lambo Maroon purple not sure what its called yet but the paint is amazing on it love it. has about 1600 miles on it from dealer owner or manager driving it one month. The engine isn't broken in yet, so I haven't take it past 4800. (over revved by accident to 4800 not used to throttle in general I wont take it past 3200 in till its got 10-12k.

Next! Twin Turbos, after I learn how to drive this thing...

Sorry for the pics and back yard, used my phone #1 and #2 were remolding the back so its bare.

congrats! the owners manual says the break in period is 1200 mi. or somthing like that, not 10-12k. no way anyone can keep it under 4000 rpm's for that long.

congrats on the Z.

By the way, if it already has 1600 miles on it, most likely, the car has seen redline more than a few times already. There's really no point in babying it for 10+K miles lol. You bought a sports car, enjoy it to the fullest - you would probably do more harm by neglecting oil changes and other tune-ups than taking it to redline often....

have fun.

a new car is like a toy, when you first get it you are very careful then after having if for some time you start to find different ways to have fun with it.

translation: the z is new you don't want to beat it too hard but after a few months... you'll see

f00man, I am going through the break-in period now too. I have to keep telling myself I will have this car for a while and 1200 miles isn't that much. Just got a 07 Daytona Blue Touring. Found a couple nice sections of road today to enjoy the car some without breaking 4000 (well 4500 a couple times ). Congrats on your new car too IlovemyZ33!

I'm just happy to be back in a RWD. I had a '91 240sx for years, then sold it and bought a sensible car ('01 Jetta Wolfsburg). Came to my senses and got the Z. Want to get it washed then I will have some pictures up. Hopefully by the middle of the week.

Please tell me your joking

FYI the break in period is 1200 miles for those who can last that long..not 10-12k

I took my Interlagos Fire to redline multiple times with only 4 miles on the odometer. I don't even have the oil consumption that plagues the 06 Z's....oh and I've never broken in any of my cars either and I've never had any issues...
