Those photos are so over exposed it isn't even funny. They do the car no justice.

They did a good job on the front bumper cover but they still need to put a clip in that rear bumper cover.

Pretty crappy, I don't think I was even be top 3 (42.x).

The course was very technical (which was good). Except the fact that I showed up late cuz I was driving from OH that morning and wasn't able to walk the course. That completely killed me.

I ended up having a hard time figuring out which corners were tight (had to brake hard and late in the middle of the chicago box) and which corners I could exit wider (corner before the last slalom). So I scrubbed my new tires A LOT which completely sucked and killed time. I am glad to have more competition though and watching a stock Z on R-comps get a 40.0x and a 370Z get 40.x on street tires shows that the car is a beast. I honestly feel like if I would have walked the course and taking a longer break in between runs to get my head together I could have gotten down to 41.x But woulda coulda shoulda. Also no vids this time as I forgot to turn on the camera.....Doh!

So yeah, pretty frustrated from the event. But like they said, a bad day at the track always beats a good day at work.

I went to the autox at 8:30 and they were still cleaning all the crap left behind by the ABC studios. Supposedly they were shooting for one of their series. I stayed till 9:30 and they still were not done with the cleanup.
I had to be at a picnic in the afternoon so I had to leave. I took EVOLUTION school in June and haven't been able to attend a single SOLO event. Can you believe that

And yeah, I got my new tires (Potenza RE-11) put on. They look beefier than the RE050's and they also felt quieter when road was good. However, when there are small cracks in the road the noise is very high.
I am all excited about the Grattan event this weekend, I am signed up for both the days.

Hey AJ, what color 370z do you have? And are you on Xceedspeed?

Someone had posted a "spotted!" thread on Xceedspeed, said they seen my buddies silver MS3 and was driving a red 370z. Wasn't sure if that was you or not.

You were correct, I did jump up the run group after you showed me the correct line. I cannot believe I made so much improvement in 2 days. Thank you.

My pleasure - again, sorry I had to run. I had some brake issues and I needed to make sure I drove back home with Kenny from mufflers and more - since he has a trailer. Luckily, I made it home OK. Now I need to figure out what to do with my brakes.
