Last time I ran 2'09, this time I got a big wing, cams, and raised rev limit to 7.2k. The result is 4 sec faster. Plus, a lot of go karting helps. HAHA

Beside the fancy body kits, mainly are HKS coilover, sway, bars, camber arms, Clutch type LSD, full intake, exhaust mods. Brakes are stock Brembo.

One other thing is I completely disable the VDC by pulling the G sensor. That way, I can trail brake way deeper than before without triggering the ABS.

The next on my list is a roll bar.

Gonna go custom. I really dont like the way they decrease passenger side space on bolt on roll bar. I wonder why they make it like that.

Here is some in car footage

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6A0L82BUVQ

Pat/Scott - give me your critiques if you have any. I know some of my shifts were off a bit. I'm still trying to adjust to the car. It redlines at 6.2k but the power seems to drop off right after 5k (its a small power range).

At 2:42 (T12?) I always seem to get a bit of oversteer there too.

Will watch a few times and provide a critique. It's a bit harder, of course, not being in the car.

Really? The car should be very neutral and flat through there, and understeer, if anything. I don't see him o/steering there. That's a super-fast, high-speed turn. In the Z - and with big ***** - you can take it flat out. It usually takes me a few sessions to work up to it.

Seems like his car kicked out a bit?
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
And I don't see myself taking that turn flat out anytime soon! lOl

Ya, actually I think that was the first lap of one of the morning sessions and I just got a bit too excited in catching up. I accelerated hard while the tires werent warm and the rear slipped out a bit.

That event was cold! Thermostat said 30 degrees in the first session!

Hit the dyno to see how the power and torque are delivered to help with your shifting. . .

I think I heard the tires bark a few times when you downshifted. If that's true, you may want to consider practicing some heel/toe, as it may seriously upset the car one day.

@1:43 - two hands on the wheel, especially when going over the hill!

@2:45 - likely obvious, but too fast in and uncontrolled exit causing the car to oversteer.

@3:47 - I noticed many laps that you are not tracking all the way out of T13. Get on the gas early, and let your momentum carry you out there.

@3:58 - WTF was that car? I saw you gave him the point-by, but I didn't see either of the cars in front of him give one. Was this group open passing w/o point-by? The passing of the second two cars looked unsafe to me.

@4:38 - exit of T9 needs some work.

I sure hope they meat-balled that MR2, or whatever that smokey thing was.

The way you handled the steering wheel is kinda weird. You will have better reaction if you place your hands around at 9 and 3 position.

I think the line is ok, but as Scott said, it's hard to tell if we are not sitting in the car, especially the braking and throttle input.

Your car is limited on your lap time. Heavy and 2.0 Engine. So dont worry much about your lap time. I drove a Genesis, the chassis and handling couldnt compare with the Z and G at all. But there are always improvement on your driving skills. Seat time + Seat Time + seat time.

I think u mean T11. I have to be very smooth on the throttle, otherwise I will be oversteering too. I always throw the car right at turn in (create oversteer) to aim on the apex (oversteer stopped before apex) , so my car will be have a straighter line getting out of the corner.
