I'm at Laguna today if anyone is going to be there come and say hi!

 

Had some challenges early, as my ABS failed and I almost lost it into another car at T2. Thankfully, and somehow, I saved it, though it was in a cloud of smoke. The fluid had gotten a little low, so once I topped it off and reset the ECU, all was fine again.

Later in the day a BMW came around at the risky T4 and hit the wall. He ended up on his side against the tire wall, but he was ok.

I finished the day out chasing an awesome driver and car - it's that dark green 240Z driven by Greg Scott. I have video uploading now. I had nailed a couple of 1:43.xx laps, including a 1:43.00, but managed to piece together a 1:42.41 and a 1:42.32. Ah, the quest for a sub 1:40 continues. . .

I wish I was, but they were full! Say hi to Greg, and be safe!

Thanks! The 1:41.xx is within reach, but I still have to lift going up the hill between T5 and T6 because of the sound check - even with the "special" exhaust tip that I have on there. Well, I think so at least, as I know I've failed sound there before with it on. Vid is almost done processing. . .

Here is the video. Lap 3 (starting at 6:00) was a 1:42.3, and lap 5 (starting about 9:31, which had a touch of traffic heading into T11) was a 1:43.00. Good times!
