Ideally the tune does not change - though firmware upgrades can be minor or major. On major ones, there are occasionally items that need to be looked over when upgraded. I will have more information on the coming upgrade.

You are the first person to ask, so I have raised the question of exchange/upgrade program with Haltech

+1 Hal. How much is it for the new harness? Even without exchange?

It does not look like there will be an exchange option, and a new harness is $305.66

Keep in mind you can access the wires yourself, or I would be happy to add them for significantly less than a new harness.

Are there plans on a 1.05 firmware for the 350 PnP?
And one question on the 1.04 I run both firmware and software of this version and cant get the over run fuel cut to activate, would this work with the 1.05 software? I have the Decel cut RPM on 1400Rpm over 50deg, celsius but it wont cut fuel.

By over run fuel cut are you saying rev limiter is not working for you? If so email me so we can find out what is going on with yours - that is the first I have heard of that.

1.06 will be the next release, and is nearing completion. It has some exciting new things

Sounds good, I am sending you a PM, it`s not the rev limiter but the fuel cut when you let go of the pedal and let the engine "brake", a bit hard to explain when english is not my first language..

...and INPUTS! Hal you going to SEMA? Need the full low down on what Haltech has out there in the booth. If the I/O box is there, swipe it when they're not looking, for "testing" of course!

I spoke with them a few nights ago and they were loading up for SEMA. I will be there, and trust me if IO boxes are on display... they won't be for long

No official ETA, but there is hope that at SEMA Haltech will disclose a add-on module for the 350Z unit to allow multiple additional inputs/outputs (to work with W/M injection, failsafes, shift lights, etc). Of course, we need the firmware to support the hardware and provide functionality for additional maps, triggers, etc, to properly take advantage of it. That update will hopefully come not long after v1.06.

Sounds good

So does that mean I would be able to remove my Meth controller and just have the Haltec control the meth pump and flow and at what Psi to start spraying like I do now?

Not sure. Most folks have some kind of progressive controller that is tied to fuel injector duty cycle... Anyway, let's hold our breath only after Hal reports back from SEMA.

it is almost guaranteed that there will be no progressive control for meth. just an on and off trigger. But there would be an input that would allow a flow meter or empty tank signal to get back to the haltech to tell it to open the wastegate.

That can be done now using and of the wastegate solenoids though.

They might give another PWM channel (like that used for the boost control solenoid) or injector drivers. Honestly just a couple inputs and outputs extra are all that are needed (map switching, boost control via external input, failsafe outputs, meth output, maybe extra injector outputs). We'll see what happens...
