HOOK, LINE, SINKER! Doesnt take much - just get out there and drive!
good point, the struts are gonna wear out if they arent already and make it ride like a cadillac
those are on next months hit list....AllstarE4... that should answer your question as well..... i really want a tune this week.. but i could put that off a month and get the struts this time.... decisions decisions

Dude go with like koni adjustable shocks. They'll cost you about the same as you were going to pay for your tune and you'll feel alot more difference from those compared to a tune with a slight power jump that you probably won't even feel. I'd wait for a tune until you know you are completely done with your bolt on power modifications. Just my .02

It all depends on how hard you're going to get into autoX. The car will love the tune more than it will struts (gas mileage, overall performance). I ran last Saturdays autoX on stock struts with 53,xxx miles and did "OK". My brakes were my weakest point and I wouldn't hesitate to run another autoX day on the stock struts.
I am definitely going to order suspension next as I just picked up some OEM Brembos (so my brake fade issue is more than solved). Chris and Scott both run the Koni sport struts and that's #1 on my list with just two other options in consideration. When you get ready to order the suspension you should buy from Jeremiah. He goes by "James@MVP" here as a forum vendor and his prices are unbeatable. I just bought my Stoptech braided brake lines from him cheaper than any other vendor had them. He's close enough to go pay cash in person. He also quoted me the lowest price on the Konis. You won't find them cheaper than through him.
Sorry for the book, just wanted to share some info I've picked up recently. Hi Nexx!
edit: Patrick raises a great point. If you are still planning on adding power parts I would hold off on the tune and do the suspension now.

i think i am done with bolt ons, i have intakes, cats and exhaust, engine dampner, and sway bars....dont forget i am the only one that was there with the HR engine so i think the tune will be more noticeable. my car is on 08 with 53k miles, had it for approx 10 months now and its only been lowered maybe 7 months.
You would be fine on your stock struts for a while, but you will definitely benefit by replacing them with the Koni struts asap. If you're good with power bolt-ons then get the tune.
With that said... you will benefit more in autoX with suspension mods and tires. I've just always been a big fan of properly tuning your engine. It's a toss up I guess, but whichever order you choose just make sure you do both.
Man watching those videos makes me wanna go do it too. Looks like you guys are having alot of fun out there. Maybe one day lol
When you gonna come out and drive...it is a blast ! And it won't really beat your car up.

Travis is gonna be hard to beat if he gets good seat time....his '08 will be faster than our single intake engines.....same goes for the 370's. A lot more HP than ours.
Also Travis....I have been driving on my stock struts just up until a couple months ago....and since I had a blown front compression bushing I put new bushings on along with front camber arms. So you can run on stock struts for a while at least.
Don't do too much at once....as you will want to see the changes that either improve or Detracts from your suspension set up.

i think i made of my mind and it makes the most sense (to me). i am gonna hold off ordering the springs for now, and go ahead with the tune. Next month i will order springs and shocks at same time because i will already have everything apart.
Are you set on the Tanabe? I know that the GF210's are a lower spring rate than the S.Techs you have now. I can't say whether or not that will help or hurt your goal, but I thought I'd make note of it.
