Happy to help Chris.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and be safe this New Year.

So I was able to move some of my vacation and I am off for the Grand Am race at COTA. I think Eric is going, anyone else? Eric, what section did you get your seats in.

ART pipes installed, not used to the sound of test pipes. you can hear more of the exhaust rushing through the pipes. butt dyno thinks it is snappier and actually at cruising speeds they are quiter than the kinetix cats, kinda louder and about as deep as them at low speeds

wonder if the tone will change any when they get broke in some... over all pretty happy, and come to find out that cat WAS NOT cracked again, think i was a washer rattling

I don't think a test pipe will "break in". Do the resonators have anything in them?

Good news about the kinetic. Now you can sell them for a decent amount.

Reset the ecu after the install so it can adjust for changes and hopefully adjust afr accordingly. I would get a tune to utilize all the potential of the mod and go see steve kan at prt tuning in lewisville.

tune was done back at the begining of summer by steve, and motordyne stated that the afr from high flow cats to these isnt much difference. so since i have been tuned should i still reset the ecu?

My butt dyno instinct says yes lol...not sure maybe hold out till others post but I don't think it could hurt you. I would reset it and drive like a bat out of hell as long as no ice on the roads

edit: Wouldn't it help to see steve and get a retune once you get it strapped on the dyno. Maybe wrap up some of the breather mods sooner than later and get a quick retune and check your HP/TQ.

I would take a beer from you Travis.

Travis, I don't think that reseting the ECU will effect the your Tune....basically your ECU is now reprogrammed from Steve and if you did do the ECU reflash it would go right back to where Steve had it last.
I'm 99.9% sure about it.

You are correct. When you reset your ECU, it basically is clearing your computer's cache, but its target AFR and whatever else should remain intact.

I believe that's for those who aren't idling properly after messing with their plenum, usually their throttle body.

I have done the basic ECU reset...it is almost exactly the same...but just a little different....but It couldn't hurt to try it.
