I guess the rain dance I did on Sunday worked. Ingredients: dirty Z, bucket, soap, sponge, dry towels. Works everytime.

Almost got hit by lightning this morning. It zapped a utility pole about 1/8 mile from me. The flash was really bright followed by that loud, instant thunder you get when it strikes near you. It just about doubled my heart rate.

 

on the cleaning the car - but hey, its worth it for the one day your car is CLEAN as hell..

and first its the spiders and now the lightning.. what else Brad..What else...? Im kiddin holmes... dang, its BLACK outside.. hope no hail comes of this...JINX

 

Funny you should ask "what else." Yesterday on the way home, going up I35, I see a smoker car coming up to pass me on the right. Dude's car was putting out some serious smoke, almost like it was on fire. Since my top was down, I didn't want to get "smoked" by this fool. So I'm thinking, do I get in front of him, or just roll up the windows and prepare for the worst. He gets right next to me, motor screaming from his beater, then it sounds like all hell breaks loose under his hood. I hear crap flying everywhere. He decelerates and yanks it to the side of the road. He honks and waves his buddy down that was driving in front of him. It startled me at first thinking some of his flying parts might head my way. Luckily, I escaped with no damage. I'm thinking I may need to work from home for a couple of days.
