Hey Audible, I've been taking my car to a guy in WY who does all my Utech tuning and he was showing me some of the nitrous features when we were tuning an evo with a 75 shot. Are you using the TPS and WOT (aux silenoid on/off after xxx, etc etc) for your nitrous though the UTEC too? oh, and i also saw they have a aux silenoid on/off on Coolant temp.... what do you think about that stuff?
just asking cause im gettin my nx setup put on this weekend and have to go retune it and all

on your timing maps...are you guys changing all of your values from 10%-100%?
also, do you need to change any knock sensor values before logging?
i have a bosch knock sensor installed on mine but i am wondering if the stock knock sensor would be more accurate because of its location.

Why would pay extra for a MAP sensor, only to have a very restricted resolution, when you can use the full spectrum of the factory MAF sensor as your load reference?
Using MAF is your load reference is the best and most accurate method of tuning an NA car. Hell, if we had the resolution, its the best way to tune an FI car as well.

you pulled this one out from the depths.
if tuning on your own, get the TXS Tuner wideband. It just makes everything so easy to datalog. You can use other widebands for datalogging, but then you have to use another program to log the UTEC info and your wideband info together. then, you'd have to go back into the utec to make changes......not as nice as using the TXS tuner wideband, where everything is done within the same utec connection.
