I have downloaded the Beta5 but my RPM doesn't work!! I see my A/F, Ignition, Coolant Temp, IAT, Boost but no RPM. It still doesn't' have an option to log everything like the current version were you can hit the Start Log and it will log everything even Idling. Any body used Beta5 yet?

What version are you using? 2.7 work for me but not the Dashboard.

 

beta 3.4 works pretty much okay, except the autologging dosent work more than once for me. Beta 3.5 would not connect for me this morning, I'll try later.

 

ya 2.7.5 with no dashbaord, or any of the new beta versions without RPM

 

I also tried 3.5 today Matt, same results, 3.4 is still working.

Got mine to work finally! With 2.75.. weird

Few questions:

Any idea what offset would be desirable for my wideband to match up? Its located right after the downpipe. Options are 0/100/200/300/400/500 milliseconds.

Also any idea what the "WB o2 Placement" means? Options are Normal/Move/Copy... no idea what they mean.

and which one is better with no problems and have support ?

I just got my UTEC installed and ready to tune

I want to use one of these nice GUI loggers ? which one to go with ?

WE are talking about UTI. UTI has a lot more extra than MPS and cheaper. MPS don't have Dashboard Mode were you can see your IAT, no Audible, no Auto logging probably more. I havent used MPS in a long time but can't remember if it can compensate for the delay for the A/F. I looked at my old MPS logs and there was also a delay so this i not just a UTI thing.

 

Yeah, your best bet is UTI, version 2.7.x. The beta version just isn't quite there yet.

What I meant of Dashboard Mode is were you can see IAT and Coolant temp. Same as Dashboard in Utec where you can see your Intake temp and Coolant temp. Believe me UTI has more bells and whistles compare to MPS. With MPS you have to manually log so you'll have one big raw data, with UTI all you have to do is power it on and once it detect you are doing a Pull then it will automatically log it for you, it will also automatically log if it detect knock. It is nice to have a separate file for your knock and makes it easy to find it.

UTI has all of them and more... the only thing MPS has an advantage over UTI is the Wideband support. I don't think UTI support PLX , Zeitronix and TechEdge. If you have Innovate, Turboxs Tuner and I think even AEM then you should be good with UTI.

Edit: who cares about real time? I can barely look at my gauge when driving..lol This is the reason why we do logging, to eventually look at the data later on.
