UTEC 'Upgrade?'
interesting..
if you wouldn't trust UTEC at all then go with a full stand alone or the greddy e-manage ultimate.
I'm surprised that there are no such a support for UTEC
these are really great EMS for our cars + evos +wrxs

You guys still having luck with UTI. Just got the utec and tuner installed. Just want to make sure you guys think its worth the $20. Is 2.8 still the latest software for the utec and I did to update my utec will a base map, the guy I bought it off of had a twin turbo setup. I can't seem to find a base map on their website to upload, just intake and exhaust numbers, which I guess you have to type them in by hand, Thanks again for all the help

Just used UTI yesterday (version 2.7.X) and it's working awesome! I absolutely love it. It's working great with my Innovate LC-1 wideband with the delay set to 100 milliseconds.
As for the maps, they can't be found here - http://www.turboxs.com/utec350zupdate.htm

Few questions:
Any idea what offset would be desirable for my wideband to match up? Its located right after the downpipe. Options are 0/100/200/300/400/500 milliseconds.
Also any idea what the "WB o2 Placement" means? Options are Normal/Move/Copy... no idea what they mean.
Thanks!
Aaron

The guys who are using the tuner, what milliseconds are you having the best luck with. Or how do you determine what one to use?

I could not make the Dashboard work for the life of me and when I was getting ready to give up and bought the Tuner, now the Dashboard Mode work for me now connecting via Tuner. Now I can log IAT, Coolant, A/F, Boost, RPM..etc with Ver. 2.75 and I'm happy.

I'll have to give that a shot.

lol.. I thought you are one of the lucky ones.... It does work with the Tuner though.
has anyone tried the newest version of uti with an aem wideband. It will not read my wideband even though I can connect to it fine on hyperterminal. I'm starting to get pissed because none of the last releases have worked with my wideband so I'm working why I paid for the software.

Email jeff coz I told him I get this problem and he said it was the first time he heard it. I too have problem with no RPM with the beta and that kinda defeat the purpose of logging. This is the reason I'm staying with 2.75 right now.
