Also so that other people know, if we do a custom tune here at the shop you're paying for the tune, not for the hardware/software. The only reason we make the hardware/software combo is for people that want to do a basic flash tune, or aren't near an Uprev Pro Tuner. If you wanted to get Cipher so that you can log info and reset codes let us know and we'll see what we can do on a Cipher kit for you.

Wanna clarify that one for me a little Rich? You guys are still offering the free e-tunes correct? People data log. Send it in. You guys tweak, etc etc..

The way i read that post you guys are no longer offering that?

Yes we still offer the free eTune currently. We may offer some sort of limited number of free eTunes once we release the end user software. We're still working on pricing and numbers etc. Trust me thats been another internal battle here as we spend an awful lot of time tweaking customers eTunes and we learn so much from all the data people send in so we want to keep it as free as possible. There will be a good balance between the current product and what you get free and what you will be able to do with the end user tuning capability.

Trust me, we like free things as much as anyone (I never pass up a free hamburger for instance). But if we're backed up 4 weeks or more, those free eTunes aren't helping anyone.

Oh and we won't just cut it off, there will be a transitional time between 1,000,000 free eTunes for everybody and whatever limit we decide on for the future free eTunes. It'll probably be a number of months so don't worry about it yet.

The same time we release all the new ECU updates. Nissan switched to the new ECU and we haven't had the time to get into all the nooks and crannies. There are 4 ECU's sitting here on the test bench right now all frankenstein like as we speak.

If you haven't done so already, e-mail us so we can get your information and add you to our list so that when it is released you'll know.

Can you please give us an updated description of what the User Tunable version of Osiris will let us (or our local tuner) control? Thanks.

We haven't settled on exactly what tools we're going to give consumers. You will have the ability to completely hose your motor if you're not careful with it, thats for sure. We'll give you the control, what you do with it is up to you?

Basically the full tuning capability will just give you more access to what your ECU can do. It's specifically designed for people that know their way around tuning a vehicle, and know their limits. We do alot of support for the NISMO racers out there and they have been asking for more single vehicle control without going to a Pro Tuner set up and license. These guys race on a budget, and we're trying to make it so that they can afford to buy tires rather than break the bank on tuning.

Most people will still do fine to use the off the shelf maps, or eTuning when needed. I don't tune cars and there is a reason for that. I don't trust myself. I let Jared do that stuff, he knows what he is doing and he does it right.

Damn!! I just read the whole f*cking thread! LMAO

Lots of information here. Looks like I will be grabbing a tune after I get some breathing modifications.

Was sad to hear about __jb's ECU crashing, but happy to hear everything got settled away soon, and looked to be the luck of the draw.

Definitely will be getting this after an couple of other modifications sometime this month.
