Default Re-tune?

So here's the story. I flew from minnesota to denver and picked up a 2007 350z, it had exhaust and intakes and was tuned in the Denver area, with a Cobb tuner. Do you think it should be retuned now that it's in minnesota? When I go wot, the cobb says the AFR is around 10.5. I haven't done any really hard driving since I bought it just in case. Thanks for the help.

high elevation with thin air to low elevation with more air. I'd guess you should be running leaner than the tuner intended.

Are you boosted? 10.5 AFR is much to rich to begin with anyhow. I'd get a retune at the elevation you will be primarily driving at.

@R350Zz33... Id love to get an up rev tune. But I don't have the money for it now. Its put away for the winter now, so I can save up. But how do you un marry the tune? It has the stock maps on the cobb tuner. Just put them in?

@str8dum1... I'm not boosted. But is it better to be rich than lean?

generically speaking its better to run rich, but you are soo rich its hurting performance and killing your gas mileage.

You should be around 13:1 at WOT with a proper tune

In the lower rpms my car pulls like a bish, but up top, it seems to fall a little short. Thats because its running rich? Anyways, come spring ill get it re-tuned. Ill be getting test pipes as well, so a tune will help incorporate those as well. Thanks for the help btw.

(100th post! yay lol)

Thanks man, that'll save me some dough. I just gotta find a reputable tuner in Minnesota that has experience with 350z, and Cobb. Ill ask the Minnesota boys if they know of such a place.

^Good Point. I was on Cobb's website yesterday, and didn't find anything about the 350z platform. I've heard excellent things about uprev as well. So I may be leaning that way. I need to get my rear squared away, as I NEED adjustable camber arms, and new tires as a result of horrible inner wear on my Nt 555r's. But after that, Im definitely ordering the tune. Thanks for all the help fellas!!
