buncha lightweights i have about 54k on my 07... 18k of which was in the last 5 months, haha. have loved every minute of driving it, and no major issues but have noticed a minor squeaking sound coming from the right side of the car, audible when the windows are open. anyone have any ideas?

13,000 miles got my car exactly 1 year ago

When my car is idle in neutral the clutch makes this really weird ticking noise... anyone know what that is? It does it for a while until I push in the clutch... then as soon as I let it out it does it again. I heard a lot of Z's have that problem... is it the slave cylinder?

Pardon my ignorance regarding the "VQ"/"HR" bit, dudes...I've an 'O4.5 Touring Coupe; my guess is that I have a "VQ" engine, right? Thanks in advance for your orientation! Oh, and BTW, 23+ miles on it.

they are all in the VQ family .. you have the VQ35DE that was produced for the earlier year Z's. the 07s and 08s have the VQ35HR.

then of course there is the rev up mess .. but those are still DE's : )

2008 Base with 6800 thought I had to much negative camber on driver side rear tire but thought to myself its just me....installed some different 18's with wider tires and different offsets...took it to alignment shop -2.9 was camber on dirver side rear spec and on passenger side rear was -1.4 talk about ****ed up adjustments at the factory also noticed a squeecking nosie when I go through some small bumps on the road nocticable only windows down....also during hard acceleration when I get wheel hop from 1st to 2nd window washer fluid comes out of rear dispensor other than that nothing else

wow 77k.. how's your car holding up? by 80k my old e46 bmw was not as tight and made many suspension / creaking noises.. although I was slammed 60k of those miles.

Just broke 30k in the 07 350z, been dropped since day one, car still feels pretty solid minus some shock mount noises probably associated with my coilovers. Overall..

Very minor noises are starting to come up, but I have a feeling some of them are my fault lol. Mostly interior/non-mechanical noises though.

The windows sometimes make creeky noises - because I didn't RTFM and once disconnected the battery with the windows down. They need to be reset or something.

I think I could probably use some new bushings maybe. I had planned on getting polyurethane bushings to try and reduce wheel hop.

Just hooked up the PCMSCAN today. SES light is basically always on, because I'm running test pipes. Tried stuffing steel-wool in some non-foulers long time ago, didn't work. Read that brillo pad is actually the way to go. Anyway, only had 2 codes, catalytic converter malfunction and o2 sensor. No misfires recorded.

I reset the trouble codes and damn I always thought that the "limp mode" wasn't real or something, but it felt a whole lot smoother and had a bit extra pep to it, for about 20 miles until the SES light came back on

07 Z 50K + Miles. Mods: DIY dual intakes parts purchased from pep boys, Problems/CEL light/Idle problem non what so ever. Longtube headers also installed as well but unfortunately there is a small idle problem and CEL light is not on but codes are still being pulled out. Other than that Slave recall and thats it.

glad some people have caught up to me, now at 66k on my 07 and the only thing i've had to replace was a $20 brake pad retainer clip on the rear-right... replaced both the rears just in case. as for the squeaking sound i mentioned earlier, greased up the sway bar bushings and that reduced it by about half.

i'm at 41k now. my lower control arm bushings are shot, but thats prolly more due to my coilovers and sh*tty roads. also i think my clutch is on its way out... i might have to do the de slave conversion when time comes to change the clutch...
