Same here. It only happens when my girl sits in the car.I think its not enough pressure too. I may have to get her to come with me to the dealership so she can duplicate the issue cause my warranty gonna expire at 36000 miles and i dont wanna get stuck with an issue if my car does not fall under the recall.

I'm tempted to take the seat apart and just tie the sensor into the seat belt. Seat belt on = airbag on.

Anyone else have valve tick after its idled for a while (when hot).

I'm starting to get a small tick and wondering if I should be concerned (obviously could just be a collapsed lifter)

Also, I got my car in April 08 as well and I got 9,100 miles on it so far

By the way, no problems here except random rattles in right side of the hatch and the door.

07HR - 21K

8K - Slave cylinder recall.
12K - CEL - bad right cat (replaced)
14K - CEL - bad intake MAFS (replaced)
19K - CEL - both cats deteriorated (replaced) - got to see them, it was really bad, big bits falling out of them and everything.

Sound-system crashes when bluetooth connects to my Iphone.
all sorts of little squeks on dash.

The car drives strong.

40K. Had tranny and clutch replaced under warranty once. Still have grinding problems when driving normally, usually 5th gear. But no problems at all when getting on it.

65k heh.....

Recall done, nothing but wear/tear items needed to be replaced. I'm on my 3rd set of tires and 2nd set of brakes (rotors/pads) including factory sets.

The windows need to be reset because of my own fault, and I'm due for a serp. belt.

08HR 6MT 17.5k miles

Slave cylinder recall

5th gear grinds occasionally.

6th gear grinds when shifted from neutral. (Example: driving at 55mph, throws in neutral & lets clutch out, puts clutch back in and throw 6th gear = grind)

Driver side window motor going bad

Everything else runs good

08- w/ 8700 mi

1. airbag light
2. dash rattle
3. left rear wheel bearing bad

only problems so far. took it to dealership and had problems addressed. apparently we have pretty good nissan dealerships here in vegas because they warrantied the wheel bearing and rattle no questions asked. after i got it back the service guy told me that the audio place where i had my subs installed broke a clip that holds the center dash piece, but they still fixed it under warranty. it still kinda rattles but whatever.

and i asked about the airbag sensor. the guy said the sensor is too sensitive and the light will go on and off with slight movement. he said not to worry and the airbag would work properly as long as someone is in the seat.

other than that, no problems. and i gotta say that ive been extremely pleased with the customer service from nissan. im a former chevy/dodge guy, and i never saw the same service from those guys... but judging from other posts ive read i guess im one of the lucky ones lol.
