I'm curious to see someone with over 100k. I know the DE's can make it, and they run really good with higher mileage if maintained, but the HR hasn't been out that long for people to rack up serious mileage. I'm eager to hear if the HR is as reliable as the DE.

Just a quick question for you HR guys. With the 07s and the slave cylinder needing replacement, does it matter if the car is still under warranty or not?

Most definitely the HR is a far better engine. There's no doubt in my mind it would outlast a DE. I've owned both and I'd never go back to the DE. My HR was the first car I've ever owned that consumed absolutely zero oil every 3.5k miles.

if it's a recall, i'm pretty sure it doesn't matter if it's still under warranty

He made it to 100k and says its just as fast as day one. awesome.

2007 solar orange with 85,000... haha its going strong! Normal wear and tear. The battery just **** out on me but that was only 100 bucks to replace! Just installed the single greddy ti-c, hps intake tubes, and k&n filters.

nice! That's what I like to hear. I'm looking to keep my 07 for the next 2-3 years at the very least, and I project it will have 80-90k miles by then. I always use Amsoil for the fluids, and I just want the engine to remain strong till then.

How many miles on your's?

An 07 should have around 60-70k miles if going by the 15k/year.

shes running strong no troubles so far i change the oil every 3k and ive done very dealer mile service, but my voltmeter always at 12. when i turn the ignition it struggles to start and if i leave my radio or the lights running for like 5 mins the car wont start. also the car was for 3 months at a bodyshop from a small collision, the day they wanted to start it didnt, obiously because it hasnt been on for 3 months. They refilled the acid and here i am today, the car left the shop on march.

Damn, reading this thread is depressing. The odometer on my '08 just rolled past 15,000 miles, and I use my car as a daily driver.

42,1xx today. Selling in the next week or two... she was good companion. Never had anything out of the ordinary. Just routine oil, tires, and 30k service.
