Highest mileage HRs
Nope, I've only had it for 2 months and have already put 5k on her - Bought it w/ 85k on the clock. it was a *VERY* well documented 1 owner car and was babied, Still drives like new (wouldn't have signed my name otherwise)
Don't worry, It's a 6 spd (07/08 Base Models were 6spd ONLY) all is well - no grinds whatsoever but 1st and 2nd are a ***** to get into when it's under 40 outside (but after the car warms up a bit it's good to go)

you're right about the 1st to 2nd shift when its cold, BUT just b/c its an 07/08 doesn't mean it escapes tranny issues. My 5th gear went bad in my 07 (60k miles and out of warranty) and had to buy a new transmission. I almost thought the 07 and 08s were free of the problems that plagued earlier years, but I guess not. Other HR owners have had the same 5th gear issues here too.
Well so far so good - No Oil Consumption or any other issues.....good thing I have a 42k/mi warranty on it!
as per the google converter, my Z did 72k miles and still running super fine
nothing so far.. only window's motor for both sides, and that happened only once. also loose temperature sensor, so temperature gauge in the dashboard read worng reading. and that sensor needed to be tightened.
i had all the bushings replaced with whiteline, and i also installed the SPL midlinks. and when i looked into the OEM pieces condition, they were still in a good condition. only one needs to be replaced.
i dont really baby my car. i drove her in taugh weather too. twice in a track, 1 drag run and 1 AutoX
i never sent my Z to workshop to fix, but to upgrade
happy owner here

07 enthusiest with 44k. I have flywheel chatter, clutch is weak after 4 minutes of hard driving and I have a bouncing tach. Getting the z-speed tzr clutch and hd slave along wih a 14lb fidanza flywheel, so those should not be an issue for much longer. Other then that its a great car and I drive the living **** out of it, in all weather.
Is there a recall on the bouncing tach?

For everyone that keeps complaining about the CSC, just get this http://www.zspeedperformance.com/ZSp...ZSPHDSLAVE.htm

2008 33k... Just have drop in filters. Passenger side door AC vent broke. Brakes need replacing soon after driving curvey roads every day for a month. Waiting to put the Z1 kit on or go for BBK with my tax return.
Just hit 100,470 miles! 6MT with no grinding trans (thanks Amsoil!). Had to replace the front brakes at ~98K. Rears are low, but not ready for replacement. Starting to hear the throw out bearing and will be replacing the clutch in June. No CSC issues or any other clutch issues. Not a drag racer at all. But, I do get on it on the highway. Car rides and drives like new! Looking to replace the stock clutch set up with the Specialty Z clutch and Flywheel kit (that will eliminate the plastic CSC also).

Either way, I bought a new transmission and put it in stuck to the OEM fluid and started rev matching more, when appropriate. Glad to you you broke 100k miles with no major issues. HR engines are solid
07 with 62k miles. Bought it last year in February with 29k lol! But yeah downshifting from 6th to 5th the 5th grinds a bit..... I have an aftermarket warranty but have yet to bring it in.
Oh and when going around 90+mph its hard to put in gear again.

I bought mine 5 yrs ago... drove off the lot with 6 miles on it. One owner ftw!
EDIT: Still jealous of all the low mile HR though ^_^

Same thing happened to me last winter. I also Heard about this so many times that even on my new transmission I never do the 6th to 5th down shift just because I know it seems to be a weak link.
I was like that too, but honestly the HR runs better with age in my opinion. I would double think taking it spaces to save the added mileage, but then I realized I was enjoying every single mile I put on, and that's the reason you buy a car like this.
