I see. Judging from your post, the Z is a daily? Paint looks immaculate... well done.

Many thanks! Yep, the paint sees my porter cable for full paint correction about 4 times a year (seasonal). The bumper has its share of rock ships though. For being a commuter car, black color, in NY, this is as good as it'll get. Will get the front bumper and lip repainted this summer though. Mmmm...fresh paint

Rahul stop it!! Put a Nismo V2 or Amuse kit, suspension and TE37's on it and you'll fall in love with it all over again . . . . I promise you.

Default Super High Mileage '08 HR

I have exactly 123,725mi on my '08 Roadster bought in '09. Today while doing a routine oil change I found that my rear diff bushing is blasted/leaking. The reason I'm on the site today - finding out how others dealt with this issue. Other than that: a clutch change, a pulley bearing going out, belt changes - which I feel is routine maint - my HR is running and doing great!!!

102255 on mine. No real problems although I've only had it for 2 months now. I think someone hada NOS kit on it but can't confirm. I'm happy with it!

get a tb gasket Nissan part# 16175-ar000. Take off throttle body, clean tb with cleaner and put it back together. Do a reset and your idle souls be fine

89,000 on mine. Currently getting a new JWT clutch, flywheel combo and HD CSC. Other than that only belts and fluid changes no problems. Love my HR!

You know I was close to selling my car because I've been wanting an e92 m3 for the longest and I'm in a situation to put down 60% and finance the rest. So I joined the m3 forums and found a plethora of problems with those engines (bearing issues) and the transmissions. In short, it's not a car you want to own out of warranty. It got me thinking. I would likely only be able to afford one coming out of warranty soon (2010 model) and I didn't want to shell out an additional $5k for an extended warranty. I also didn't want a $500 payment and I also didn't want to live in paranoia in case anything went wrong. So I've closed that chapter for now and will revisit the idea of that car in a few years.

It got me thinking. My 2007 HR has been so reliable, the engine is so robust and it's all around good car. No car payments since I bought it outright in 2010, insurance is decent and did I mention its been so reliable? HR FTW! The HRs look a tad outdated now but when done right, they still look amazing. Some people hate the hood scoop but that's actually my favorite cosmetic change I love about the HR compared to previous years.

My 2006 Just ticked 60k. Only normal maintenance. New spark plugs, motor oil, gear oil, diff oil, a few flushes. But no problems. She still turns heads and runs like a champ.
