Dealer is being ignorant. Said they won't go lower in price until I see it in person...I'm not going to drive 5 hours just to find out how much they actually want for it....time to play hardball. Sorry for the story time session.

Did someone say motivation?

Yeah, you'll be fine... Dealers aren't as difficult when cash is involved

Mine just went last week, and the ironic thing is it went when I was driving very calmly. I was expecting it to go when I was romping on the car.

If the previous owner or YOU as the new owner like dropping the hammer every light at like 4-5K rpms, then you should get your money ready to replace the CSC.Mine lasted from 24K to 105K,but then again I dont do high RPM drops and the such.Guess I was lucky...

I am now at 118K, put theZ in the shop 2 weeks ago for fulll tune up( Belt,Plugs and Flush/Refills).Found slight oil leak where plugs sit, had to order 2 new valve covers, all assoaciated gaskets, was about $500 shipping included from Courtesy Nissan. Also found my WillWood Master was leaking where the rod enters the cylinder by the pedal. Joe has sent me a new one (under warranty),just got all my parts from Courtesy, so should have Z back by today or tomorrow. (the Courtest parts took forever on backorder for 1 gasket)

Other than that, owned since 24K miles, I havent had any issues that werrent either known for the Z or maintenance/wear and tear.

So in about 100K (3 years) the list of repairs and maintenance :

Clutch/FW replaced including Master and CSC.(South Bend)
Upgraded old rotors and lifetime warranty pads from Autozone
Battery
Mobil 1 Synthetic oil changes every 5-6K.
Tranny drain/refill at 55K and again at clutch replacemnt at 105K
Diff drain and fill at 55K and again during clutch replacement (by my request)

Not too bad considering this is a true sports car that gets 32K miles yearly.Hope it treats me as well the next 3 years until its time for new clutch.

Please keep this thread with only information, you guys can have side convos through PM.

I have 60k miles on my 07 runs like a champ, my rear hatch shocks dont work in cold weather probably cause it was an island car for the first 40k miles. My TPMS sensors started failing at 40k miles heard nissan TPMS sensors start failing after the first 3 years but I know a guy with an 03 Z and his have never stopped working all this time he has 18 inch touring wheels. I've done alot of drifting with no mechanical or overheating issues at all.

I'm at 134K in my 07, still on the factory clutch no less. Really the only thing I've done to the car outside of basic maintenance is replace the rear shock mounts at about 25K miles do to them making noise. Looks like I had a tire pressure sensor go bad the other day though. All in all the car has been fantastically reliable.

I just rolled over 143K on my 07. Factory clutch is still holding strong as well. I'm curious what the highest mileage on a factory clutch is.
