I figured I'd ask the experts before I went out and spent money on tires!
with the stock 06 track rims (18x9, 19x10 I believe)
Would it be ok to use 245/45/18 in the front and 285/35/19 in the rear?
I'm asking because I have an extra set of the rear tires from my stock 18" rims so I'm hoping to reuse them onto the front of the track wheels and just buy a new set for the rear (I figured 265/40/19 would be ok too but I can't find any tires in that size)
also, I'm dropped on tanabe gf210 (1"/1.2") so would I have any problems rubbing?
the overall diameter on the front is 83.8 and rear is 84.4 so would that be ok? how much would the change affect my speedo?
Thanks everyone!

^Hmm, not sure what to think of that calculator printout. It's false info in regards to this post though. The calculators work fine, but you need to start with the correct info. When determining the affect of new tires, they need to be compared to the original tire size. You can't just compare the tires sizes from front to back. It doesn't work like that.
To make things clear though. For the '06 track rims, the 285/35/19s will be fine for the rear. However there is a possibility you may rub depending on how low you go and what type of tires you get. Some tires/brands just happen to be wider than others, even when comparing the same size tire.
The 245/45/18s won't work though and is not recommended. For these wheels, you need a 40 series tire in the front.

The front and rear delta seem to fall within the 3% rule
and just my speedo would be off
I saw that warning about brake failure on 1010tires, but with a lighter rim, spinning slower (relatively) wouldn't the brakes be more effective and less prone to failure?
I might be way off base here, but that's the way I'm understanding it
