Unofficial Enkei Wheels Thread
So.. here is the problem child, REVIVED! (Scott and I were scratching our heads)
Setup:
F- 9.5x18, 255x35 Toyo R888, 2.4 camber
R- 10.5x18, 274x35 Toyo R888, 2.0 camber
I was able to fix the rubbing by stiffening up the Koni's on front and rear + a fender roll. I think the R888 275's runs a lil wider...
Awesome day at Laguna seca and pushing it my the limit!!
Many thanks to Scott and Z car garage to help me set this up!

With my set up, the only place i can rub up front is the fender lip. Fully bottomed, my tire slightly touches the inner fender well plastic ( i removed my spring and fully compressed my suspension for testing) The rear on mine has a mile of clearance.
Thanks! I bought Tein springs long time ago.. don't really remember the spring rate. It was lowered close to an inch. I don't have bump stops. I didn't feel the car fully bottoming out. Luv those Koni Yellows!
Half your front and rear tire are tucked and the mud flap is almost on the ground. Spend a couple hours removing springs, looking at your travel limits, seeing what is causing the problem. It helps for setting things up.

One of each wheel, 255/40 front and 275/40 on the rear, i wanted it to understeer for her first event. Typically i run my other RPF1's up front with 275/35's on them.

Couple pics of mine...
18x9.5/10.5 +15 with 275/35 & 295/35
Lowered on Eibach Sportlines with -2 camber front and -2.7 camber rear
Next alignment I'm going to go with closer to -2 camber rear because these 295's are creating a little understeer despite the 275's up front.

279/242 with cat-back exhaust and long tube intakes last time. I go there a bunch.. it's only about an hour and a half from me. I was at Z Nats last year.. and I've been to two 370Z meets (one was just two weeks ago). They're starting to know me by name around there heh.
Understeer will partially be caused by the difference in camber, move the fronts so they have more camber than the rear. These are for the track right? -2.7 front and -2 to -2.2 rear will help a lot, and give you better traction out of a corner as you unwind the wheel.
This is my daily driver btw, but I do autocross when I get the chance. Right now the lack of LSD is causing the biggest problems lol..
And I would like some sway bars too.

Hello All,
I've hit a point where I've gotten my head wrapped around numbers trying to figure out what I want.
I got 18x9.5/10.5 RPF1s on order. I want to run tire wise Bridgestone RE-11 265/40 front and a 275/40 rear. I want to avoid that stretched look. I saw Scotts350 say 275 looks stretched, but looking at tire calcs a 265-275/40 is almost perfect for the F/R. But looking at a 285/40 or 35 seems too big and too small. The thing that is really killing me is percentage differences regarding the speedo, and I'm trying to keep that as close to stock as possible. I can go on for almost forever on numbers, but yeah........... I'm lost.
Looking around at peoples suggested camber I feel a 2-2.5 is where I want to be with a daily driver with a few track days here and there.
So please critique this.
Someone please help a brother out.

265/40 is to much tire for the front (4.8 mm taller than stock 225/45). I ran a 255/40 on my 9.5 fronts and it was just right with no stretch; it's also the closest you can get to stock specs regarding the speedometer reading. The 275/40 is also preferred in the rear if you are concerned about the speedometer but be prepared to roll your fenders if you purchased the +15 offset.
