Scott WHat would u recommend then? I have same setup(wheels specs wise) As soon as i get a front bumper ill be attacking the tires plus drop etc. I have 295 35s in the rear now. Will be switching the fronts from 245 2 265 35 i guess. I will be lowered on prob GF210s. Looking for a mild MILD drop just to help with fender spacing. I really need a rear spacers so what u think? I dont track/drag. just a DD
I don't think spacers are needed at all with that big tire, but with a good rear roll, you could probably run a 10mm bolt-on spacer. There is a lot of room in the front - you could go 275/35/18 even. Use the 10mm spacers that you bought for the rear as a test-fit up front before buying another set. Maybe 5mm shim-type spacer would be enough up front, or maybe you'll want the 10mm.
yea idk. I still havtn had an alignment in a while. Fronts have been on car for wow idk 30k miles. Now i have a weird slight shake from the front right tire that iv been told is unusual wear. Kinda like a knot in the tire. So until i get springs and new fronts i was gonna wait for the alignment
18x9s on the right with 285s and 18x10.5s with 285s on the left? I did the same sort of comparison with 18x10s vs 18x10.5s, and the stacked-difference was noticeable. Yours is VERY noticeable. What's that - 3 or 4 inches over 4 tires?
Actually ~4.5". The tires are on a slope. The smaller ones start about an inch higher.
Ah, just saw that in your NorCal AX post. 4.5" of width - you should notice that! That kill any thoughts I had about using my 9/10.5 SSR Comps with 285/315 for autox. I just nabbed a set of 315 scrubs, and will try them on the 10.5 +15s, maybe cut the fender lip.

maybe this would help...
rear: 18 275/40 +10mm
front: 18 275/35 +25mm
I've already auto-x'ed this setup and i got no rubbing issues at all.
I could probably use some 5mm spacer upfront. Im gonna give it a try when i get the chance.
Very dirty car and poor pics, but you get the idea. Shocks are off being rebuilt. Ride height is actually about .5" lower in the front and .8 lower in the rear.

It doesn't look like the 315's would fit on the front without a small spacer. Even the 285's are fairly close to the LCA. Also, the 285's on 9" wheel stack was 43.3". The 285's on 10.5" were 47.6". 10.8" per vs 11.9". Do like.

Yeah, I think the 315 up front will be tough without some fender modifying. The 315 rear should be easy, and I will find out soon (will test fit the 315 up front just for sh00ts and giggles though).
