another "time for tires" thread
i am in need of tires. this isnt a daily driver, weekend toy only, so tread life isnt that important. i am currently running the oem bridgestones, i would like something a bit quieter if possible.

Before buying tires check these test results: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=tires
Jeremy, Even if your car is a DD that you do not track, you might want to go with all-season tires if your plan is keeping the stock wheels.
All-season tires run more quietly than summer performance tires, cost less, and last longer. Of course all-season tires are not rated to high-speed driving. That may not be important to you if you do not track the car or are not a Minnesota Viking player (two of which were recently cited this week for driving >100mph).

If you plan to drive >100mph, you want UHP tires. If you want comfort, choose an all-season tire.

Run as fast as u can from the Hankook V12's. Ive had them for over 2 months now and there the worst yet. Youll die in the rain and they suck dry. I usually always try new tires in the rear or get whatevers on sale, but ive had way cheaper tires that perform much much better. I think even the Dunlop Direzza Dz101's were better then these hankooks. I wish I would have tried the Dunlop Star Spec or just found another set of Re050a.
Best tire ive had out back that hooked on a 100shot was the Eagle F1 GS-D3's. If your stuck on the 2 I would def grab the 555's. My best friend has them on his turbo NSX and swears by them.

hmmm...
also the falken 452's are rated too bad.....
or dunlop DZ101
i would never own a goodyear again. i had goodyears on a new vehicle and they were all crap within no time and offered no solution to the broken belts in the tires. so they will never get money from me again

Yokohama S.Drive....best bang for the buck in my opinion. I'm in Florida as well, and you know how often it rains out of nowhere, the S.Drives have been great wet so far, and very grippy dry.
since you stated it doesn't matter get another set of stock tires.
I'd check out either the B-Stone RE760's or Yokohama S-Drive. Those two always butt heads and people like both. Of the two I'd do the 760's. A bit quieter and easier to rotate since they are asymmetrical.
