From what I have seen in the past, people who make claims like that are typically throwing smoke. Combine the notion that he is bragging about how good a business man he is with his preference to correspond through text messaging, and I start to envision a 17 year old kid trying to overplay his cards.

Well, I do have a claim in with PayPal, it was filed on March 9th.

You should probably dispute the charges with your bank as well before the 60 days is up.
I'm about 4 hours away from Dallas, but I wish I was closer so I could take part in whatever ends up going down with this guy.

I have contacted my local police, and have a detective investigating the matter.
Zedenvy, if you were indeed scammed by this same person, then any information you could provide would aid the detective working on the case.

Well i read up on teh paypal rules of dispute so I waited till just before the due date and i opened up a claim with them. Even then he was providing bogus tracking numbers etc. Months later I finally got my money back. Picture on the website was of another Z on the forum with cali plates. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought wel lmaybe he was too lazy and just pulled a picture. Looks like the guy is just looking for a 2 month interest free loan. PM me if you need any help with cops or anything. Hope you get the your money back too.

Email - jgonzales350z@sbcglobal.net
The email and phone number are legit, and I am pretty sure the name is too. Zedenvy, did Jimmy use this same email address and cellular number when contacting you? If not, then that tells me that he is creating email addresses on the fly to handle each scam.
Here is more information (thank you, Sean):
I am not sure if I can post the actual address, but Sean and I know it if yall want to pm us for it. During a conversation with Jimmy (that ocurred after everyone starting harassing him), he told me that someone on this forum was able to get a hold of his wife/fiance's mobile phone number. He also stated that the address we had was his parent's.
None or all of this could be true, but if someone has found an extra contact number, please either post it or pm me the information.

Think people on g35driver or 350zmotoring would appreciate knowing about this?
Edit: I just read about 7 emails that Jimmy sent to zedenvy. Same exact thing, tells a bunch of stories, and then tries to mislead and misdirect.

It was an interesting day today.
I received an email from Jimmy Gonzales containing a screenshot of the UPS shipment tracking page showing the details of my shipment. In the email, he stated that this is his proof that he did indeed ship me a Nismo Exhaust. I have conveniently attached a copy of this screenshot for everyone’s perusal. I am sure everyone here will find it amusing, as Mr. Gonzales decided that the tracking number was none of my business, and decided to cover it up using some sort of photo editor.
A friend of mine viewed this with me, and pointed out a very interesting part of the screenshot. Apparently Mr. Gonzales did not notice that the full tracking number is displayed in the URL of the screenshot. Thus, being a curious bloke, I decided to access UPS.com and view this tracking number myself. The result of that tracking number produced the second attachment you see below… go ahead, compare the two

It shows 3 total packages going to TX and not FL. And only 4.10 lbs must be Ti FTW.
1Z 2X5 76X 03 4405 097 0
1Z 2X5 76X 03 4258 218 6
1Z 2X5 76X 03 4480 099 0
So, he had someone in IL send him 3 packages to make it look like he sent your packages? WTF kind of an idiot is he?
