no way it won't be a plastic man, i've never seen a car use plastic handle except those toy one, it may looks like a plastic handle due to the polish colour but plastic handle is a no go!

That's what my dealer told me. They might have a metal base to it, but they have indicated that the "chrome" look cover on the handle is indeed plastic. Sure hope not. Please don't shoot the messenger.

I wish they would have been able to keep the style from the last concept car. But alas, no. I assume this is as true to that look as they could get in a production vehicle.

Having ordered Brickyard and seeing the newest pics...i personally like the contrast. It's the type of thing that is going to be much better on the darker colors, Black and Brick, than on some of the the other colors, LeMans, Redline and Daytona. I think having the handles match the body color gives it an unbroken appearance and it loses some of it's aggressiveness.

Forgive my tardiness in joining the discussion, but I happened to notice no mention of the O-riginal 240Z which has chrome door handles. Granted, that was ~30 years ago, but considering Nissan's desire to return to the fundamentals that the 240 embodied, I think it's quite appropriate in spirit alone, if not in looks.
Personally, I think it's a sweet detail. Looks just as good on my Miata blue '72 240Z as it does now.

P.S. I love the look of the "chrome" handles...
