your lying then. Number 1: 17 year olds in Cali can NOT buy a house without a Co signer aka most likely mommy and daddy which goes for auto loans as well (for their corvettes), unless these so called 17 year olds you know are already multi millionaire workers paying full amount cash, which would be surprising at that age. So they aren't boasting? why? Because mom and dad are helping them out, which correct me if i'm wrong, you are getting on all our cases from mom and dads help. Which more than likely includes your friends.
Only reason Im saying what I did is because, I know NO OTHER guy under 20 who managed to get that much money to buy a car. Sure its not the same living with your parents. But on the other hand your boasting like your some hot **** being your only 6 years older than me and how you lived in an apartment working full time going to college. You havent been doing it long enough yourself to brag you've been working for a long time. Also I can gaurentee you that 99.99% of 17 year olds in the world can buy vettes and houses anywhere all on their own without anyones help. First because you gotta be 18 or over to legally own a house or car or even get a loan, second theres no way to make that amount of money on their own at 17 to buy a vette and house. Dont go around spewing crap out of your mouth please. Just respect what others have done for their Z and you'll get the same respect. Trying to belittle someone is not going to help anyone.

I feel the same exact way but I'm only 19 but I look 17. I also worked for my Z and people at gas stations sometimes just give me a look that mommy and daddy bought my car for me but that wasn't the case. It sucks but oh well if people are really that curious they can just ask.
I hardly ever get on here anymore, but I must say that this is the most entertaining this thread has been in a long while.

Here's my list of cars thus far,
'97 Geo tracker auto-gave to my dad who still drives it
'96 Honda civic dx 5spd
'98 200sx SER 5spd
'97 Dodge Avenger-had this one for 1 week because my 200 broke down and I was told it was going to take a while to get all the parts
'98 civic hatch
'94 Geo Tracker
'91 Geo Tracker
'02 Sentra SER Spec V - this was one of my favorites, just sold her and already miss her
'98 Ford Ranger
'01 Jeep Cherokee - Miss this one as well, bought cheap, offered way more than I paid couldn't turn it down
'05 350z 6spd -finally purchased last month, always was one of my dream cars don't know if I will ever be able to sell her.
'86 Bronco 2- my current winter beater/everyday driver
After writing this list I realize i've had quite a few cars for being only 24, none of which were wrecked, simply sold for profit or to move on to the next car.

1995 Toyota Camry (still have it)
2003 Nissan 350Z
I could of gotten the Z in my teens but I wanted to mature more (and wait to graduate college so I don't have to drive it on campus so kids will mess with it after a party) before I got behind the wheel of one of the most notorious sports cars that young people kill themselves in. The evo, sti, and the mustang are also on that list. I got a lot of money from my family and from me saving for college and then I ended up with a full ride track and field scholarship so I used half of that money to buy my Z since I didn't have to pay for school. Used the other half on cocaine and hookers in Vegas

I say we all get plane tickets and go to vegas for spring break, everyone on this thread except for anyone under 21. Cocaine and hookers for everyone! Who's down?!? Or maybe miami for spring break? All Z members raging would be awesome.

I'm 18 and I just bought a Z from saved money as well. I'm not one of those dumbasses though that will end up in a tree. I haven't been driving for long and I'm not one of the little punks that try's to act like it. It's a fast car and should be respected. I didnt die from lymphoma so you won't find me killing myself in a street race haha. I plan to attend my local track days and learn how to properly "drive fast" the safe and legal way. EDIT: oh and to the people acting like saving 10k with NO BILLS is something to boast about, you're dumb. Just wait till the real world hits you
