Was his stock as well? Otherwise, needed the driver mod. At one point in time, my MS3 had bolt-ons, tune, and meth. Completely destroyed an auto 6.0L GTO. We can go all day with anecdotal evidence of which car is "faster." Thing is, there are quite a few MS3s with bolt-ons, tune, and e85 who are staying bumper to bumper with 5.0s. Can an HR do that?

Lmao @ Joker... You're ridiculous dude. You gotta be the most misinformed person I know. And most definitely lol @ an A4 spanking an MS3. That's a better story than Cinderella.
Anyone with a stock HR in the Gaithersburg/Rockville/Frederick/Germantown Maryland area? You should be able to walk my mildly bolted and e85 tuned ms3 that doesn't run more than 21psi right?

IDK... I personally think Cinderella was a great story. It had a bit of everything: happiness, tragedy, revenge, forbidden love, and of course the happily-ever-after.

previous '03 turbonetics powered Z owner here.
I now have a gtx3076 powered mazdaspeed3. You still think a stock HR can take me? I've walked CTS-V coupes at 24psi. I'm running 28 now.

If they had still made the MS6, that's exactly what I would have bought. However, for $25k and if you're in the market for a brand new car, you will not find a faster or more versatile car. That's why I bought one.
Sure I could have bought an Evo (or an STI) that someone beat to **** and didn't maintain very well, but I chose to know everything about my car. And I don't regret it - mainly because of reasons like this thread. The Mazdaspeeds are underdogs, and cars that doen't get enough recognition.
I'm telling you now, if you think a stock 350z is going to walk, let alone beat, a modded and tuned MS3 (especially E85) you're in for a rude awakening.

Yes I am, or I'm stating that he did not know how to drive his car. Or perhaps he was on a stock tune or a POS off-the-shelf map. And I say that with absolute confidence.

Nobody's even talking about lap times. Straight line speed only in this case. I had an MS3 with a gt2871 and now I have an '03 Z with 4.08 gears. My MS3 was so much faster, it's not even fair.

Congrats on spending over $30k on your Nismo edition that can't put down more than 300whp stock. lolz.
That's okay though, that you know, my 4 door econo-wagon could embarrass your nismo in any test of speed. Yep, autocross, road course, drag race.
That's okay. I had a Z. I know what they are, and I probably spent more on mods in that thing that you have, and mine was certainly faster than your is. I think I've also been a member of this forum since before you began masturbating to the sound of your VQ exhaust.
But I'm honest when I say that the car I drive now, baby seat in back and all, is faster than my Z ever was. And I haven't even upgraded suspension yet other than a rear sway bar and rear camber arms.
My Z looked better than yours does, too. So if you wanna play the name calling game, we can assclown.
Stock HR is not beating a tuned stock turbo MS3 on e85. Just ain't gonna happen unless by some miracle that HR is putting down 300whp. But alas....they're not.

Edmunds road test:
madzaspeed Speed 3: 5.9 second 0-60mph, 14.4-second quarter-mile at 99 mph
2007 350Z: 5.1 seconds 0-60 mph, 13.6 seconds at 103 mph in the quarter-mile.
?

Lmao, not it wasn't. There were comments made that it takes 30PSI and forged cranks and pixie dust for an MS to run 12's. LOL, and that a stock HR could walk any stock turbo MS3.
