Most of you guys are a bunch of uneducated cry babies that underestimate a mazdaspeed3...which is fine cause most do and thats the best part of the car. Z is a good car Mazdaspeed3 is a good car. Both have advantages/disadvantages. Here is a video of my freinds 350z HR with intakes/headers/testpipes/catback and 50 shot of nos againest my mazdaspeed3 with intake/downpipe/fmic/tune on 20% e85. If not for the nos it wouldn't even be a race. Just cause your car has two doors dosn't make it fast.

Take your time finding one. I lucked up and my 05 was owned my the dealership owners daughter so it still drives brand new as all the service was done right and on time.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it the second time around. The first Z I test drove was a hard top. The car ran great but was a disaster everywhere else. Regardless I was hooked. I was originally on the fence for hardtop vs convertible. I like the look of the HT much better but you really can't beat dropping that top and cruising down the road. I eventually lucked into a good deal on an '05 Roadster which I absolutely love. I still think the HT's are better looking but I'd rather drive a convertible. Either way you're going to love it when you find the right car.

Since Speed3's are SO slow... first, me racing a 440rwhp GTO which was on slicks and skinnies. My Speed3 had a GTX3076R, I was only about 3/4 the way tuned making about 400whp. I spun all the way through 3rd, and half of 4th and still put 2-3 cars on him by 120(camera car couldn't keep up to tell.

Next, me racing a 60 Trim GTI(stop vid after first run):

Me going 13.2 on the stock turbo, full boltons, no meth/e85, and street tires. I do believe I hold the record for fastest stock turbo MS3 on street tires on purely 93. I could've broke 12's but kept missing gears when the cllutch got hot:

Jesus Christ we've been infiltrated by the Speed 3 forum. Your car is a fugly POS. Who cars what you have or what you've spent. I bought the car for $34,000 and have spent $20,000 on engine, drivetrain, suspension, braking, wheels etc etc etc. and will have 500whp on tap. Some of us can spend that because we have it. If I want another car I would have gotten it. The HR Z is a beautiful car with a much higher ceiling than the Speed 3. Please take that God awful looking wagon and go back to your own community. Noone cares about it here.

Oh NO it's ugly. I'm selling it and getting a GT500. I also have a C5 Z06, and a 2013 Lexus LX570....don't try to pull money into this, please. Your 350z has a typical ricey front bumper. At least put a clean bumper on it before you call the MS3 ugly. You're bringing up the stupidest points, seriously. Were talking about STRAIGHT LINE here not track(suspension, wheels, etc). And wow 20,000 and only making 500whp...SMH that's sad. My MS3 could've done that with $5k and stomped you. I got rid of it for a real car.

Joker, how much was put into that 350? Let's put that in the vette, then tell me they're in the same class. Not gonna happen. 11.8 isn't impressive a bone stock c5z runs that...on street tires. Don't get me wrong, I like/respect Z's. But you have to spend tons of money on them to even get them semi decently fast. You guys are making them out to be something that can be made so fast, without taking the money into consideration.

I never said $20k for just 500whp, re-read my reply. Your forum buddies are trying to bring the fact of money and cost vs power into the discussion. My point is some people don't look at that as they can afford to do what they want. We don't care for your **** box on wheels. As for ricey bumper its a stock bumper you asshat and almost anyone compliments it when they see it. It's a very high regarded clip and serves an actual aero purpose as the entire body was designed in an air tunnel by Nismo and Autech and gives 33lbs of downforce at 75mph. Obvious troll who knows nothing of the 350z.

As for cars, this was a stock vs stock comparison. Suddenly we are talking about modded cars? That's great, your cars are fast with mods - so are ours.

Someone will always have a faster car, someone will always have a nicer car, someone will always have more money, and someone will always have a bigger d*ck. Get over it. You sounds like a bunch of kids on the school yard "No... my dad can beat up your dad."

that z06 is already more expensive than a new Z + built w/ turbo. you can have that for around 25k$ now a days.
my 6000$ 73 camaro with a 400hp 350ci crate motor is slightly faster than my z (probably about a second) but the z is faster in the turns and on tracks. also more fun to shift.
im building another 5.7l now for another camaro and goin for 500hp for under 5k including the car. but thats a different story and the z will still probably beat it at a short track.
built drift 350z's make 800+hp on built stock blocks. those may cost close to 20k. probably less tho.

Based on the videos that were uploaded i think its safe to say the 350z is nissans version of the SI. Have fun looking fast but being slow and I'll have fun looking slow but being fast.

There are plenty of YouTube videos of stock for stock HR and MS3s with the Mazda getting pawned. The ceiling for a Z is Much higher than an MS3. Will it cost more to produce the power? Maybe. Either way, saying we are slow, or aren't able to make good power is just funny.

If you're building a 350z or a Mazdaspeed 3 for drag racing you're an idiot! There are much better and cheaper platforms for that than either one of these cars. Is there anyone left on this site over 18 years old?

You won't get an argument on this from me. I just find it funny Speed 3 guys calling an HR 350z slow. Edit Just goes to show they have no idea what they are talking about. Simple argument is stock for stock who is faster. Simple answer. Backed by facts.
