MIAMI (Pembroke Pines) Dealer Rant!
Fealt anyone in Miami should know my story, ironically I just got the customer satisfaction survey at home. Time to fill it out!
Maroone Nissan of Pembroke Pines is a fricken joke. (The Service manager did a great job however the Techs SUCK!)
Took my car in for the greasy windows, came out with still greasy drivers window, passenger window now would not auto rollup and a mutilated polished aluminum piece on the passanger door.
Took it back to fix the window and door trim, got home, when I would close the door I heard rattling. Decided to take the door panel off to install my new speakers and found 7 thats right 7 bolts were completely loose in the door.
Well, Thats my rant.

Maroone
Thanks for the info. I myself had an extremely bad experience with Maroone Nissan of Kendall. Thumbs down for them too. Mostly a problem with the salesman and not so much with service though. Right now i'm sticking it with Esserman Nissan in Hialeah, no complaints about them...yet

I agree, when I was shopping for my Z I went to both Weston and Maroone. At the time I was just looking for the best deal. As far as the salesman Weston was much more friendly, but that didn't bother me too much. When it came to finance, however, the guy at Maroone flat out would not give me a rate, it was like talking to a car dealer 10 years ago!. I finally just told him if he couldn't give me a rate until I comitted to buy I couldn't buy and walked out. The salesman gave the guy a look and said thanks a lot. I promptly went over to Weston and bought a car. What idiots.

This is a good post. I tried to pre-order my Z from Maroone in Jan. of 2002 and they were asking for a $5000 dollar "market adjustment". I ended up buying it in Indiana and driving back.
They weren't real friendly about my Vortech either. Are their any mod friendly deallers in south FL?

i had all kind of issues with Maroone on 8th street when I had my Z...
had the grease streak fixed, and they scratched my tint up...
took it in for the cloth seat fraying TSB - they only replaced the seat bottom, not the seat back.. i had 2 tone seats basically... i called and complained, and they changed it out...
the list goes on...

You will have no problems with Esserman with a popcharger...

i'm not so sure how cool weston nissan would be with serious mods. before i installed my test pipes and springs i asked them how they would be about mods (mainly the test pipes) and my service advisor said it could be iffy if i have engine problems down the line. i'm not worried though, installed them anyway. if i have any serious problems i'll take my car to performance nissan in palm beach (i think that's the name). they sponsor the sfzcc and sell performance parts there so i'm sure they'd be cool about it. just a while away.
