you can pop out the aluminum pieces on the steering wheel and door handle cover
and do a repaint like your door panel
Plus I believe you can remove the center console too
search for removal instructions on the web, I'm sure you will find them

On the 03 - 05, the silver pieces on the steering wheel can only be removed by removing the steering wheel. I've seen posts from others about breaking the silver pieces by trying to pop / pry them off.

The cubby hole seems to be the most common area of scratches. I've just noticed it when I driving today. It really sucks especially when you plan on selling it.

I decided to take the console out and spray it with Gloss Black. Here is how it came out. Looks 100 times better.

I still haven't figured out how to get that panel off. Detailed instructions would be GREATLY appreciated.

It's really easy. Just take a flat head screw driver and do what I did in the below pictures. Carefully pop off the console and then unplug the wires.

That looks really good! Did you sand it at all or just spray the black on top and thats how it came out? I've never sanded/spraypainted anything but im tired of the damn scratches....

Default Fix Interior Scratches

I have an 06 Z and the interior panels scratch really easy so I was wondering if any of you all know how to fix it without having to buy new interior pieces.

best you can do is clean them really well and apply some aerospace 303. If you don't like how that comes out, then replacement is the other option.

Call a local stereo installation shop, and make an appointment with their "plastic surgeon."

Scratches can usually be removed.

Those scratches can't be removed by "cleaning". You can touch them up with a fine tip sharpie and if you don't like how that looks then you can remove, sand, and paint them.

I suggest CF overlays. That's what I'm planning to do.

I bought my car like six months ago. The previous owner had the panels re-painted for me and the passenger side is ALREADY scratched up again.
