you can pop out the aluminum pieces on the steering wheel and door handle cover
and do a repaint like your door panel
Plus I believe you can remove the center console too
search for removal instructions on the web, I'm sure you will find them
On the 03 - 05, the silver pieces on the steering wheel can only be removed by removing the steering wheel. I've seen posts from others about breaking the silver pieces by trying to pop / pry them off.

You guys must be rough or have some crazy finger nails. lol. My 03 just hit 100k miles and has not one scratch. lol. I must have really soft hands or something. lol.
I decided to take the console out and spray it with Gloss Black. Here is how it came out. Looks 100 times better.
That looks really good! Did you sand it at all or just spray the black on top and thats how it came out? I've never sanded/spraypainted anything but im tired of the damn scratches....

Call a local stereo installation shop, and make an appointment with their "plastic surgeon."
Those scratches can't be removed by "cleaning". You can touch them up with a fine tip sharpie and if you don't like how that looks then you can remove, sand, and paint them.
