Honestly don't think I could win in Atlanta, I need to work on my set up, and get some more seat time. I relaxed to much over the winter and I am now paying for it with some sub par driving.

 

Not sure if I'll make it to Atlanta!!!

Gotta see if I can figure out and fix the problem, if I have to buy a new MAF there goes my Atlanta budget!

chris, have you tried unhooking the MAF and running the car? You may have grease on the MAF sensor take it out and look at it try cleaning the sensor with a q-tip.

 

Getting ready to pull the MAF as I type. Why run it unhooked?

 

running unhooked will give you CEL and run the engine in safe mode. If the MAF is your problem running in safe should make the car idle more consistently. Just to check and see if it is infact the MAF. I'm not possitive this will properly diagnos a air flow problem but I'm curious to see what happens.

 

Running with the MAF disconnected made it idle around 1-1.1k

Actually, those pictures are before it was cleaned...

I drove around about 50 miles tonight, highway and around town, no problems, appears the car is back to normal, thankfully.
