I read the only way to fix it is to buy some sheets of 1/2" thick oak plywood and more neon spray paint.

FWIW, I don't run a rear bar and I do run a square setup and the car barely understeers steady state, but I don't have an installed LSD yet. I think it helped me put the power down because it allows the inside wheel to droop more. When I had the stock rear bar, the rear end swung around pretty easily. (On a square setup)

Try it out sometime? Who knows!

Congrats on the championship Mike that's a big deal in your first season IMO.
I think you have potential to get sponsors. Eh? Haha
Sasha's car sounds so amazing. I plugged my ears every time he blew by,
but it was still beautifully deafening.

Thanks Andy. As far as sponsors I don’t see that ever happening. But I did notice of the 9 class winners only 2 didn’t list sponsors. I kind of like not having a sponsor though.

Hey a free set of tires or brake pads etc, to put a couple stickers on the class winning car could happen. Isn't that how you get into sponsorship??

Most people who list sponsors are hardly 'sponsored' in the sense they get anything free. I know James gets some pretty good perks with Teknotic though, which is smart for them as he gets a lot of coverage.

Any time I race my bike I wear my local shop's kit/list them as my team but theres no deals or contracts of any sort, more just a mutual respect. Plus if there is a shop you like that gives you a discount, it costs you nothing to list them and give them some publicity. Just my thoughts.

Removing 3M tape is a chore. All day heating and picking and goo gone and wd 40. Finished it off nicely when I finally got some methanol.

But something is wrong. I can't get any negative angle or even 0 unless I'm on the lowest setting.

I wrote the company to see if I was sent the wrong pedestals by mistake.

The car is on the lift. It's as level a spot as you will find. I'm certain they are the wrong pedestals. Still no response back to my emails yet...
Might start a side thread...

Measuring the angle relative to the ground is never accurate as the true angle of attack is related to the air flow, not the ground. Technically a positive angle could actually be negative to the air. Probably not as much on our cars though with the sloped rear and would should be able to run something pretty aggressive, much more so than you have there.

The rear section of the wing is also sloped so there would be downforce regardless, no?

Yes, but I just want to make sure I have the full adjustability I paid for.

Yeah I got a 4ft by 8ft by 1/2 inch piece of oak plywood in the garage and ready for prep.
The most exciting part will be painting it neon colours again.
