A few people got them on the 240sx. They say that it is a good coilover for the price. $600 bucks. With camber plates and another set of springs. I was considering these for my 240sx.

I heard of them, but honestly I can't tell you much. Only what I read on other forums. They have another set which are purple, if I remember correctly the manufacture was called D2. They are the same company.

Yeah the parent company is D2, I tried to buy into the group buy http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.net/fo...5&pagenumber=1 for the D2 branded one's, as the Ksport group buy was long over, until I discovered the spring rates are scary, are you ready for this,..........
840/728 vs oem 314/342. That is the recommended rates, compaired to oem they are,
F+168% R+113% also means they transfer +55% roll stiffness to the front.

The have a optional rate of 728/560 vs oem F+132% R+64%
transfers 68% roll stiffness to front.

I even talked to D2 directly, you can't go against the spring rates they provide and they will NOT revalve the coilovers so you can go with sensible spring rates either. I had serious reservations about them to begin with, that was the last straw. On reflection even if the spring rates would have been ok, it likely wasn't a good idea to begin with.

Just for comparision sake,

D2 Racing 840/728 F+168% R+113%
Transfers 55% roll stiffness to front

Tein Flex
672/672 F+114% R+98
Transfers +16% roll stiffness to front

HKS II 504/504 +61%front +47%rear $1600
transfers 14% roll stiffness to the front

HKS LS+ 496/440 +58%front +29%rear
transfers 29% roll stiffness to the front

Jic Flta-2 *350Z fitment 560/672 F+78% R+98% $1750
Transfers +20% roll stiffness to rear

Nismo S-tune* 448/504 F+43% R+48% $1200
Transfers +5% roll stiffness to rear
Not a coilover, listed for spec comparision only

Oh, just a side note, the D2 coilovers use the oem location for the rear springs, just like most all coilovers do. They do NOT locate the rear springs on the coilover body.

I have the Tein Flex and they work really well. I am sure that JIC, HKS, and Nismo are all fine. The K sport seems to be a bite too much, but I guess it really depend on how you have your car set up to use those coilovers.

But, they look pretty nice!!!!

Will the car understeer more with more roll stiffness in front? What is the advatange of using higher spring rate in front?
