Default Looking to buy 350z

Hey, new to the site, first post and I have been looking to buy a sports car and trade in my truck. I test drove the mustang gt and loved it, but then I was like, well I have to test drive something else to compair it too. So at a different lot driving home I stopped in and jumped in a silver manual base trim 350z, lets just say I took the shortest test drive ever, only reason was I scared the sales man. Wasn't too pleased that he can't keep his cool when someone wants to come in and kick it. But wow, there was no comparison between the mustang and the 350z, the 350 is WAY better tuned and felt so much faster and way better handeling then the american muscle.

This is the one I test drove.

They also have these two that I have been looking at but they have more miles

Now, I will post pictures in a bit of my truck, but when I went into the ford dealership and after the test drive I was sold, but then they offered me 14,800 for my truck, and I ended up blowing up. And walking out.

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Rumble bee package (paid off)
Hemi 5.7 liter Pumping out about 380hp/450tq at the ENGINE not wheels
some custom things done, msrp was like 33-34k in 2004 and its only got 12,250 miles and its a special edition truck.

But I haven't test driven the g35 (girlfriends dad owns one) I am sure its a wonderful ride but most of them are way out of my price range, I am looking to pay like 2-3 grand + the truck.

Good news that my girlfriends mother works for this company and can get me a deal on one of those cars, and maybe a good value for my trade-in. But anywho, what should I be looking to pay for a stock 350z used, slightly perfer nothing over 20k miles. And also whats the difference in packages?

Touring? Performance? Track?

Thanks,
Shawn

performance is discontintued, touring has a sound system and leather and vdc, track is the highest end one, its not leather, and ur missing enthiusiast which isnt leather either, nor is the base. a used 350 z with less than 20k miles would be around 18-25ish depeding on what year the car is and model..good luck

leather isn't really a big deal for me unless the cloth is crappy, I am real picky when it comes to leather and cloth, if its cloth, it has to be nice and I liked the 350z's cloth (havent seen leather yet) and the g35's leather (havent seen cloth yet)

Of course, Gotta have the biggest engine offered :-P

I think I need the touring model because I want the upgraded sound system. I love music. Plan on when I get one , do wheels, cold air intake, exhaust, first in that order.

Don't get the Touring for the sound system... you'll be PISSED that you chose that over the Brembos. Get the Track then upgrade the system.

Tony (would rather pay a few hundred for speakers/deck than almost $2k for front brakes)

for 31k I could go buy a new one, and be the only owner, no thanks

Unless you want to trade title for title. then thats a different story. but its automatic, forget that, sorry, but my idea of a sports car

2 seats, 2 doors, 6 speeds manual

yea manual is fun.

I was thinking about what color to get aswell, so many good ones.

Black
White
Daytona Blue
I think Brickyard like a purple red
Silver
Red

So many that I like :-\
I wil probably go with the Base model just because brakes aint that big of a deal and stereo can easily be updated.

Go with Enthusiast, LSD alone is well worth the small difference in price.
