Hopefully fuel dilute will drop as she continues break-in. 0.8 is best to expect on these replacements I believe.
Glycol, agree is way off. No obvious drop in coolant level, but monitoring closely this interval.
Oil consumption continues to improve during current interval while still breaking-in.
So far I'm pleased with this build and will update at next UOA with ~3700-4000mi on DB 10w-30 oil again.
Wonder if all my oil services helped in comparison to ZeeForces V2 from the start and using a blend rather than conventional.

Not a problem, figured you were on vacation or needed a break form the forum. As usual I am always pleased with your expert interpretation of the raw numbers from my UOA’. Great to hear that wear has continued to improve. I was advised by Terry to start romping on engine with good pulls to 75% of redline. Safe but hard excels. I also hope this next UOA continues to improve. My fingers are crossed that soon this engine will completely seal.

Have you seen any evidence to support that aftermarket air filters, like K&N/JWT are letting in more fine particulate than a stock panel filter? Thanks!
I'm assuming we'd see some kind of trend with the oil analysis, this is the part where I get lost however. lol

I saw higher silica particulate with my JWT pop chrgr with oil/cotton filter compared to my current Amsoil paper drop-in, with my stock air box set-up I went back to.

I wouldn't sweat it if you already have one, but I wouldn't buy one knowing what I know now. I'm sure there are a few ponies to be had with the filter, but for filtering efficiency, I have seen UOA's from guys like 06CPV35 and ZeeForce switch to Amsoil's drop-in filters (made by Donaldson) and have better results. Donaldson makes a great synthetic media filter and sells it under Amsoil's licensing with good success. I keep waiting for them to come out and sell them direct, but so far they have only done this for the Corvette.

Here's my lab report that just came in today for my 2008 Z.
I had Royal Purple 5W-30, and drove it for 3768 miles.
How does this compare with previous RP 5W-30 reports? How does it compare with Amsoil Signature Series 0W-30 (the oil that I am using now, and will send in for an oil analysis after 3700-4000 miles)?

Your RP doesn't look that bad, but I still don't see it worth the premium. Again, there are oils whose average wear results are better for less money.
The Al and Pb is low, and looks good. No tin, and ring wear is nice. So, your pistons, rings, and combustion efficiency are all good. However, your Fe and Copper are higher than I would like them to be for a premium oil, which suggests spring bucket/cam lobe wear or timing chain wear for the Fe, and copper usually comes from bearings and valve guides. Seeing as your Lead is low, I'd say your valve guides are the primary source. Plus, this oil is no longer a 30 weight. RP continues its tradition of supplying a 30 weight oil that the VQ engine grinds up and shears down into a lesser grade. TBN is good, the oil will support an extended drain, and for what it costs, would be a good thing to do for anyone who insists on using the blend. It's not bad looking, but there are options for less wear with a lower price. If you want a premium boutique oil for extended drains, the Amsoil SSO 0W-30 is a good oil, otherwise do regular 3-4k mile drains with Castrol GTX 5W-30, or 6-7500 mile drains with Syntec or PP 5W-30.

As far as for the RP oil no longer being a 30 weight, how can you tell? The report shows that the viscosity levels are within the acceptable levels. How can you tell whether an oil kept its weight or not?
