Does anyone know where I can get 8.4mm valve lifters for the vq35de?
Nissan has a national backorder and theres no saying when they'll get them. I need three.

i assume you mean valve shims.. there are no lifters in this engine.. unless by VQ you mean Chevy 350.

 

They're called valve lifters in the service manual and here:

But they don't have the 8.4.

Maybe you could buy some hardened steel shim stock, and grind a piece to fit inside the lifter. Try here:

Look at the top left for discs.

PUSHRODS is what my brain stuck on. Hence the chev reference.

locally they're out of stock and restocking will take a month, and i can't wait that long..
