I am going to assume that there is no problem on the warranty.

This is my only reasoning. I brought it to my dealer when I went in for my first oil change, asked them if there would be a problem if this were installed, and they said they would be happy to install it for me.

They installed the kit I just bought from insaneamine free of charge during my oil change. They didn't laugh about the kit, they just laughed when I asked if it would void the warranty.

*shrug*

Oh and thank you for the great response time and turn around insaneamine. Absolutely excellent dealing with you.

I installed the kit on Saturday and it went pretty smooth. The lock tite can make your fingers slippery and I dropped the stock ground screw into the engine bay. One hour later....I found it.

Impressions:

1. Great kit and instructions ( I am not mechanical and took a dare on my own and the car works so I think it is right)

2. I know it is right because the idle is smoother (for sure)

3. Smoooth on high acceleration.

4. This might be me but my 1-2 shift does not jerk at all. This has been a big problem for me. Is their a correlation?

I give Insaneamine a big thumbs up.

Will post a pic in a while.

I'm resisting buying a digital camera. But, I really should take a pic, it looks great.

Default Updates

Hello everyone!!!

I want to thank everyone again for making these past few months an adventure. Thanks for your interest. Thanks for your support. Most of all, Thanks for all of your praise.

You people are the best!

Over these past few months I have learned a great deal about running a small business. In order to better serve my fellow Z enthusiasts some changes to the business plan must be made.

1. I am legal now!!! I have registered my business name and have a legit Tax ID Number. This way I can purchase materials wholesale and eventually pass those savings on to you. (I still need to find wholesale sources.)
2. I have also registered with UPS and FedEx and expect to start using these services shortly. To continue the speedy service that you have come to expect, I intend to ship via 3 Day Select or Express Ground.

What you always get:

1. A custom grounding system especially tailored for the 350Z - no extra cable dangling around, less resistance.
2. Quality workmanship – I hand make every kit as if it were for my own car!!!
3. Personable service – I consider all my customers to be my friends.
4. Savings – Hyper Ground’s System is at about $100 and Nissan’s is almost $200. Do the math.
5. Smoother idle and acceleration.

Thanks again!

Please remember, to ship UPS and/or FedEx, I need your name, shipping address and phone number.

Next up – a web site!

That was the only thing I was concerned about with respect to warranty. Glad to hear you got your dba.

Installed, went fine. Can't post the pictures yet since my host server for pictures is down... but trust me it looks good.

Runs better? Haven't tested with my dyno-butt.... and it was cold so the rpms were a little high, so who knows...

Still 200% satisfied!

Insane, think Jetta/GTI for next kit, have a few friends that could use this.

After some driving today, I claim it feels better....

No really, I felt a "pulse" under acceleration, came throught the stick on my hand. The pulse is gone, I noticed right away on first and second. So just this is enough results for me.

Thanks again.

Installed my super black grounding kit yesterday, pretty stealth.

I purposely observed my engine idling and arriving before installation, and I must say there is definitely an improvement.

This forum is getting long. I have just ordered the kit.
Any advice? Are there any dyno numbers yet with the kit
installed? Thanks in advance.

Default Dyno information...

...is available on the grounding kits. Do a search and you should find a bunch. I dyno'd mine last month and came up with a 1-2 HP difference (244 hp @ 6400 rpm) with the kit on. The tech said that there was a definite difference when I disconnected it on the second run.

But if you're looking for a big performance gain, that's about it. My advise is to read the directions and refer back to these pages for pics on the install. Take your time and enjoy getting to know your 350Z. Insaneamine has a product that looks cool, adds some smoothness and has some performance gains.

I agree this thread is getting TOO LONG!

...TOO LONG and getting longer.
A testament to a great service provided by Guy.
Thanks by the way, the Silver kit made it to Calgary last week.

Default Take a look at my website

t clearly shows how *clean* the signal is on my Dyno Graph.

Even the tech commented on it. I bet without it, it would be all jaggy like other Dyno's I have seen.

The smoothing factor was 5 which they use to purposely try and show flaws in your system. Mine was perfect.

I also bought and installed Guy's kit, it was the first mod to my engine bay in fact.

Wait, when you dyno the car, you unhook the grounding kit from the battery, dyno, then hook it up, and dyno again. Doesn't that mean that the first dyno run has NO grounding, cause dont you remove the stock wires (or no).

Default I didn't do that

I didn't Dyno just for the Earthing Kit becuase I didn't buy it for HP . The Dyno is almost the price of the kit LOL!

I just read about some jaggy Dyno's (compared to mine) and formed my own conclusion. I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. The post mentioned early showed 1-2 HP which is impressive.

I am just speaking of the cleaner signal aspect of it which makes sense to me considering how it works.

Earlier I had posted a real jaggy Dyno from my FireHawk that shows what it looks like when things are screwed up, that thread has been dead awhile though.

Add,

I really like that Super Black! Clean!
It would look good on that posters Leman's Sunset too!
Long thread = good info!
I did my install from the pics here, thank God for these posts (and Guy and everyone else of course.)
