I have a 2003 350z and the car was leaking oil at the valve covers. I replaced the valve covers (and of course the gaskets). The car had about 120k miles at the time.

In addition to the valve covers, the O-ring on the oil filter likes to go bad. Fairly easy fix

This really depends on the quality of the oil filter. I've NEVER had an O-ring go bad on the OEM, Mobil 1 or K&N oil filter in over 16 years with the Z33.

Very true, i started going with "cheaper" alternatives in 2017, 14 years without an issue and all of a sudden it started leaking.

Look at valve covers, then EGR valve and hosing. Obviously start looking at the bottom and follow upwards with very good light.

Check the gasket behind the Oil Cooler.

ANYWAY, Travlee is 100% spot on!

Unfortunately, seals on this motor might as well be non-existent. I've had leaks on my seals on my spark plug wells, the valve cover rings, and the lower oil pan gasket. I always keep a backup set of valve cover seals because I've replaced them 3 times in the 8 years I've owned my Z.
