The machine work is done! The guts from the sikky shifter appear to fit. I'm going to do a test fit tonight to see how much, if any tunnel work will need to be done.
...another crappy cell pic. I'll get some with my actual camera tonight.
alas, i have pretty much everything ready to go, however, swap guys need to check the sides of there block for the factory ls dipstick hole and make sure its plugged. i am en route to get this plug (its a freeze plug of some sort is my understanding) and has to be plugged, as our oil pan has the provision for the sikky dipstick. heres the gm part number 12557520
Pic of where the plug needs to go please. I'm texting the tuner now.
so the only reason people are wanting to run the nissan ecm along side the ls ecm is for stock gauges to work? What about ABS? is the nissan ecm needed for anythign else?
Would it be possible to only use the ls ecm and just run aftermarket gauges? I do not care to run a/c either
Well I just talked to Sikky today and they said the kit is suppose to come with a plug for the old dip stick location. So they are shipping me the piece.

One of you guys actually completing the swap should put a thread out there with a complete list of the **** you "would" have done had you known what you know now.
