on a non male on male note, your using a gto trans? i thought the gto trans had a taller 6th gear? either way, if i can cruise around at 1500 or so in 6th, well be gettin some great gas mileage lol, plus tall gearing is boost friendly
using a stage 2 t56 from tick performance and stock 6spd lsd rear end idk? And i pulled 24 mpg on the last fill up just driving from and to work which is mostly highway not to bad at all

^i think gto trans have shorter gearing compared to the ls1 trans. but theres so many damn variations in these trans idk whats what, so im gonna wing it. worse case scenario ill throw the 3.5 back in. best case, i dont do anymore work to this damn useless paperweight of a car
Well i think im going to jump on marks single turbo kit after X-mas. Im trying to take a look at AC systems with high mount to see if it will have any clearance problems with his single turbo kit but his pictures are limited. Hop we will work with me as i cant run his 350z exhaust he build and i have no need for his oil pan. All i really need is the freakin hot side the cold side would be nice but i build one just as well if not better.
My mechanic is trying so hard to convince me to install LS1 + cam + headers + 150shot . lol
He even said he will make me an adaptor to install my old transmission on the LS1.
Still thinking about it. (I'm more leaning to install a 2JZ-GTE)

Me and a fried were researching of it is possible to
Bar, by ca standards, in a 350z. We came to the conclusion
That it is. However the headers/cats prove to be an issue.
Would the oem headers or ca exempt shorties fit
In the engine bay of the 350z? More worried about
The driver side

I would think the headers would vary depending on which vehicle the LS originally came out of. (GTO, Vette, Camaro, Pickup, etc..). I have never heard of anyone successfully using the stock headers so I'd guess (just a guess) ... no.
Your 350z transmission? If so it will cost a fortune because the LS1 flywheel won't fit In the 350z transmission bell housing. Unless your putting an auto in you would need like a 1.5" adapter plate. With an auto you can at least use a thin flex plate and a small converter.
