Heat shrink gates hose connectors for heater core lines that I pieced together to get some good 90 bends.

Clearanced the bottom of the body (non structural) to let my 1.5" thick water lines to clear and slip in above the fdf bracing.. And into the engine bay

Ok so the car has been gone for final fabrication for the month.. Just came back home today.

I had a stainless 3" y pipe made to connect to the existing 4" oval single exhaust.
Also had one inch water lines made to run water to the supercharger from. The trunk tank.

Temporary Intake pipe was made at 4".

Needed a much larger air filter.. Now it is stepped up to a 5" opening.. Will be heat shielded from engine bay.

Hiring my fab buddy to come set up the master cyl, rjm clutch pedal and slave throw stoppers.
Otherwise just dealing w large AN lines for the blower water, catch can and plumbing and then it's fluids and start. W the usual delays, I'll call it two months or so til we add gas and crank it over.

Finished the return line system

Today a few more fittings come in, drop off catch can and y adapters to be rewelded up..
As soon as my catch can set up is done.. Then I have to remove the bash bar and front array for paint. Reassemble it.. Add fluids and gas and try to start the car
Three years later. Basically finished

Everything is cleanly routed under the radiator and is tied together w billet clamps.. Nothing moves, everything is easily serviced. No tight bends.

So.. Some time has passed..
The blower water system leaked badly, so it was all removed, the radiator and all piping was removed and dropped back off at welders.. It all comes off in one chunk.. Very cool, easy stuff.

Pressure tested w air to 85psi lol.. Then with water and 20psi air pressure behind it.. Zero leaks.. Had him add in a small not drain at each heat exchanger corner too. 😎👌

Had some watter fittings remade to flow better install wise, less weird angles, less bulk.

Old

New final:

Optima provided me a new battery.. Super happy about that partnership

Working on harness and a split urethane grommet that's in the mail.

. Sanded down bash bar for steel it paint..

We modified a breather tank to actually catch oil mist as it should. Lol
.

Also straightened ALL the fins of each cooler on the car. They get dinged during life in the garage. Also refreshed the black paint on the ac condensor w some special paint for such purpose.

Then I installed my LAST MECHANICAL PART OF THE SWAP 😎❤️✌️, a 150 degree 12an fitting off the dry sump tank.
We will still need to do a ton of stuff to prep the car for first start, but as of now, yeah it's " done" (ish) lol.
I am having issues getting the ecu to sense my Nissan gas pedal, and I will have to grommet and sleeve up the engine harness.. Add fluids to clutch master and brakes etc etc..

But blower water system is fully installed and running w distilled water, water wetter and a touch of pink blended peak coolant.
Zero leaks. 👌
Car will also need a front alignment before its bolted fully up.
I have an mpi billet lid on the way for the blower.. Adds some color.. Airspace and improves the sound and whine as well as a few hp.. Likely having it sent bare machined alum so I can pick a finish later on.

. Been a long fkn haul fellas.. Thanks for those who are still here watching. I'm damn near 50 yrs old now 😜 a couple years left, but still less than one handful for sure lol.

happy to be done w that era and go one to just drive and enjoy the car finally.
This has been the biggest SUNK COST fallacy event of my entire life lol.

Still following brother, and looking forward to this newest iteration being wrapped up. Your builds shine brightly in the Z/G community and are a breath of fresh air among all the clapped out shtboxes. Quality work takes time, and I have mad respect for the dedication and hard work you've put in to get the car where it is.
Really incredible to watch this come to fruition. Wish I could be there the first time you start it. I remember the joy I felt, and my car was only down for maybe 6-8 months. Truly epic. Bravo sir.
