have been wondering alone why our z tends to understeer?

Most cars are set up to understeer from the factory - much safer for drivers in the event the limits are broken. The weight, weight distribution, Engine position, and relatively soft suspension also add to this.

what kind of weight distribution leads to understeer?
like a heavier rear?

Generally speaking, a heavier nosed car will exhibit more understeer, as the weight will overcome the tires ability to grip at some point. Understeering is relatively easy to recover from in panic situations (Just not as fun as oversteering =D)

Softer spring rates add a lot to the understeering. weight over/in front of the front axle. Alignment settings can add to it. Swaybar sizes. Tires. Vehicle Weight. there are many different variables that are present in understeering.

so theoritically speaking, adding weight on the rear will help understeer?

On the Z and G35C the stagger tire setup is alot of the reason for understeer.

there are other FR car thats with stagger setup also, how come they oversteer instead of understeer?(ie, supra)
changing ur tire setup to a non stagger setup will help the understeer for sure, but that doesn't mean the stagger setup is a lot of reason for understeer which happened in g or z?
