The waste gate can be boost adjusted plus or minus by spring tension. This can be done by replaceing the spring or shimming the spring for less or more spring tension which effects pressure levels to the turbo system.

KB........We dyno tune alot of cars here at SDM, we like to do all tunes in house. The Turbonetics kit as we all know includes a ecu reflash, done at Turbonetics/tune mapping by Technosquare.
I went with a custom tune because of our altitude only, with our knowledge of tuning at 5,200ft we had criteria we wanted included, not only to be safe but to enhance performace.

The tune which will be installed in your ecu from Turbonetics will be applicable to 95% of driver/car situations.

The last thing I would want to do is intrude on someone's elses thread, however, there has been plenty of so called "knowledge" spewed out throughout this thread and based on my own personal experience....I would simply say I would never take my Z to SpeedDreams and would definately choose SpeedLab in Alb, NM for ALL OF MY performance mods!!!

No harm intended, just my two cents!!!!

Wow...Nice unsolicited slam on a bunch of guys in here helping out the community.

Since you're trying to deter potential customers (which I'm not anyways because I'm in VA) from doing business with these guys, how is there no harm intended?

Not flaming back, this just seemed way out of place given the discussion, and out of line given that they are in here sharing their experiences without any expectation of return.

That has got to be one of the most immature, whiny, crybaby, posts i've read on a forum -- ever. If the last thing you wanted to do was intrude on someone else's thread, then why did you do just that? I realize you have no reason to post what you did. It was out of place, and has nothing to do with the subject at hand. I sense it was jealousy. Next time you'd like to give SL an e-hand job, please do so on another thread, without bashing us.

I'm really ashamed these posts have to take place.

Guys, I REALLY am sorry we haven't posted videos. I took the video camera in last week with the full intentions of doing just that, but it just didn't work out. I promise we will make time tomorow to get some video of the kit.

Ugh.. yeah... It seems the 350z community in general is bent on ruining every Turbonetics thread.

I'm still looking forward to the videos. We havent seen any substantial videos of this kit since the original post about it.

I really agree with you Gman. It's a nice overall, complete kit. The professionalism of the kit is second to none. Everything comes in a nice labeled box. Everything was packed really good. They give you a nice awesome box to send off your ECU.

You know, a lot of times we get kits that are shipped to us by someone and they're packed awefull with things bent and dinged.

Taurran, my apologies again. We will get those videos up. Have any special requests?

Ernie:

There is a lot of ways of handling something, and many of them can be done in a positive way. If you prefer Speed lab, you could have said something like "Speed Lab has also done a great job for me". If you have a beef with a company, try handling it off the forum at first. Everyone deserves the opportunity to address an issue face to face; it is a matter of giving respect to someone. In addition, you were critical of them without any reason for being critical (at least off of what has been said on this thread).

We all want accurate information so consider what you say please and consider how you say it.

yah, it's too bad...
they say that once someone has a bad experience with a business, because of whatever reason (especially customer service and just overall poor business ethics) that it is near impossible to reverse the effects of such a mistake.

instead of attempting to be cool and patch what damage has been done, some choose to further add fuel to the fire...in continuing with a know-it-all cocky attitude, and just being all out a$$holes...

some businesses, choose to go out of their way to right their wrongdoings, swallow their pride and just do what is not always pleasing to their own ego, but what is RIGHT and is beneficial for their business and reputation...

I have dealt with so many businesses lately in the car aftermarket industry, dealing with accessories and so on...
some excellent businesses that i have come across...Altered Atmosphere (really great business ethics-, ForgedInternals-- Sharif always willing to bend over backwards to help out a fellow Z owner)...good job guys- you set the standard..and really make it easy to see where others are lacking!

these bad experiences do not need to be discussed here..but let me remind you SPEEDDREAMTUNER- previously in this thread, I simply made a comment about FI cars and altitude and you decided to attack me,
the funny thing- it is so easy for someone to talk **** to someone you will never see or meet, but we live in the same town and both like fast cars...why would you go out of your way to try to make enemies with someone you don't even know?... ALL of the negative publicity, you guys have earned... Those comments were not being made out of jealousy, but rather, the ability to comparatively rate how different shops treat their customers.

And what's with your sig: "New Mexico's REAL 350z specialists"...what does that mean?

Again, as always, I harbor no hard feelings to you guys, I wish you guys the best of luck, hopefully you'll learn from your mistakes moving on, this is a car forum, not a forum for better business management (although my suggestions will be beneficial if you take them to heart)

we all need to be considerate of one another..we are here to help one another, not to start internet gangs that hate each other...unfortunately, these comments were fueled by the actions of certain individuals..from the outside looking in, these comments seem harse..their was a similar thread a few months back between a couple other prominant members on this forum and a shop...the skeletons unfortunately come out of the closet and when they get exposed, they don't mean too much to the spectators

sorry to all those who don't know the history and don't care...we'll move on
we need to get back on track!

(thinking happy thoughts)

Fine, whatever, that's cool. You win a few, you loose a few. Grow up and quit bashing. I don't know how many of us have asked you to stay out of our threads. You follow us around more than a priest does to a 12 yr old boy.

instead of attempting to be cool and patch what damage has been done, some choose to further add fuel to the fire...in continuing with a know-it-all cocky attitude, and just being all out a$$holes...
I'm almost astonished you just said that. Do you lie this much in real life? We went above and beyond the call of duty to make wrongs right. I stay late nearly every day, out of my own personal time to help customers get cars tuned correctly. You know why? Because I want them out at the track running well. Now this includes donating my time to fixing other's **** ups. As far as your name calling, grow up todd.

some businesses, choose to go out of their way to right their wrongdoings, swallow their pride and just do what is not always pleasing to their own ego, but what is RIGHT and is beneficial for their business and reputation...
You just can please some customers. We accept that fact. If you'd like to come in and talk w/ ME, please do so

these bad experiences do not need to be discussed here..but let me remind you SPEEDDREAMTUNER- previously in this thread, I simply made a comment about FI cars and altitude and you decided to attack me,

I invite you to spread more of your lies and ******** all over the internet, because ultimately it just brings more traffic in for us. You've beat a dead horse. You twist and manipulate situations to your own benefit, because you can't get over your reasonless hate for us. All of the two posts coming from team noisy motor, are the only negative publicity we've had. And i'll be honest, no one really cares. We STILL do tons of 350's, and even more Infinities.

Again, as always, I harbor no hard feelings to you guys, I wish you guys the best of luck,
Then quit calling us ******** and making little poor service ineundos every chance you get. I respectively request you quit making hypocretical, childish posts on my thread.

hopefully you'll learn from your mistakes moving on, this is a car forum, not a forum for better business management (although my suggestions will be beneficial if you take them to heart)
Whatever let's you sleep at night.

i wasn't calling you guys a$$holes...it was hypothetical, remember?...and i don't need to come into the shop to see you, i'm sure i'll see you around town, and i'll have a big hug waiting for you!

So.....how about that

TURBONETICS SINGLE TURBO KIT?!?!

Jesus H. Christ. Why must every thread on this forum turn into a pissing contest between a handful of individuals who ruin the normally enjoyable learning process for the rest of us who can figure out how to keep our dicks off the measuring stick.

You're lucky I'm not a full-blown moderator or I would ban every one of the offenders in this thread and block your IP's, just to clean out the trash so that the productive, adult members of our community can share and learn without the 3-year old name calling antics.

Now stop the *****ing and talk about the Goddamn Turbonetics kit or get out of this thread
or I will start making requests to the site mods to stop it myself.

</rant>

Speed Dreams guys: I know less than **** about your shop, and I couldn't care less as it pertains to this thread. Thank you for sharing your experiences with this kit and I look forward to any video or pics you are kind enough to create and share with the community.

Anything will be great. I'm just wanting to see what most others here do as well. A few interior runs, exterior drive-by's, revs with the hood up, up close shots of the installed kit. The more the better.

Lastly, I'd like to suggest making a new thread for the videos, so we don't have to view some of the above...

Thanks!
