Just started my Turbonetics Install !!
Me too man, I just hope we can get this starightened out ASAP. Ive had the kit on for over 1 week now, and have yet to experience a clean run through the powerband...
yah i totally understand. Im just happy mine only has a slight detonation to it but racegas cures it. other then that mine runs clean. its od your car was running pretty damn good prior to install
Before install of this kit my car was a beast man-ran perfect, had a perfect tune. Last night I was regreting this whole purchase wishing I woulda saved $4k and done cams, headers, UTEC, and been the NA king.....Im sure this will all change when I can drive my car issue free.
I stopped reading this thread a while ago, thought you were all set. Just read the last page. Sorry for your hassles.
FWIW, I went through quite a bit of hassle with the install also. At one point the VDC/SLIP lights were on and the tach did not work at all. It turned out that a coil had come unplugged. Weird.
Are you getting misfires?
Can you summarize the current outstanding issues/problems? Is it just the warning lights and no acceleration or are there other issues also?

Alberto...it sounds very similar to the problem I had with my stock car. The SLIP and VDC etc lights staying pegged on startup with a CEL. I belive the part was the "throttle chamber" it was around 800 in parts alone. I belive it is the throttle by wire controller for the accelerator peadle. Not too sure if that is dead on what you are experiencing but the lights and condition seem to be similar.

Ok here are my issues from start to now:
The first day I drove the car it was raining, and I had the stock 18's on, I didnt really boost it. I had full boost(9psi in my case) but didnt push it.
The following day it was 52 degrees out-put my 19's on, and went out for a drive. In every gear every time i hit it, it would go, then seem like it misfired and hesitated, then it would be good. This is when I posted the video above where it sputters in 2nd gear, I shift to 3rd gear then it goes, then hesitates then goes fine. Later this day I boosted in 4th gear (also see video above) and my car stalled out after boosting. 1 mile down the road I boosted barely into full boost and let off, then the car dropped to idle, no throttle control. Pulled over check TB harness, MAF, nothing. Turn the car off, then on, problem fixed. Later pulling into parking lots it drops to idle 2X, retsrats fix the issue. On the 20 mile drive home going steady 60mph, I began feeling the car surge back and forth, and you could audibly hear it jump/drop revs-even at CONSTANT throttle. The car dropped to idle, no throttle control. I must of stalled out or dropped to idle 20 seperate times having to pull over, and restart the car. AT this point when the car dropped to idle I started getting VDC OFF and SLIP on. Every re-start now did not fix the issue, many times I had to wait 10 minutes and retstart "fine" only to stall again as I was merging into traffic. This was last Thursday.
On Saturday I reset the ecu, and did all of the TB procedures like Reggie told me. No dice, as soon as I pulled out onto the street the car was surging back and forth like I was tapping the gas. I drove easy anyways Reggie recommended easy 20 mile drive. 3 miles down the road, car drops to idle, CEL on, VDC OFF and SLIP on same $hit. I turned around at this point and in 3 miles it dropped to idle giving me no throttle input about-this happened many many times. Numerous restarts on the side of the road finally got me home, obviously the problem is getting worse.
Now Monday I speak with Reggie-he asks where my guages are tapped into for power, I said "I'm honestly not 100% sure as I let my electrical friend install the guages, I did the turbo install." He said check to see if its tapped for power anywhere under the dash into anything stock, and if it wasnt to much trouble pull any wires out, in other words disconnect the guages. So yesterday I took the panels out, and looked at my buddy's install. All power is tapped right into the fuse block down in drivers side foot rest, cant be this. I disconnect them anyway. Start the car, go in let it warm up, when I come out, CEL, VDC OFF, and SLIP all on. The car wont even rev when I push the pedal. After MANY restarts I cant get the car to respond to me anymore, its now not driveable.
I pulled the codes and got the random misfire 300 and something else, Im not very clear on what, I believe it was a o500 cyl 5 misfire. Plugs are new Iridiums. Coil packs all plugged in, Im stumped.
Any suggestions Id REALLY appreciate it. BTW Im ordering a code reader today so I can find out exactly what codes the car is throwing.

Nissan didn't give me the exact code number or anything like that. Eventually my car went into limp mode when it happened for me. Give you an example, making a left from a dead halt, mid turn (normal car acceleration) the car cut power and fell very limp and coasted to my turn.
Then it threw the lights. Parked the car, shut it off, turn it back on and the CEL and SLIP lights hung on (I do not have VDC). Brought it in and they diagnosed it as the throttle chamber but to me that seemed more like an issue with teh throttle by wire sensor and they replaced that item. It took quite awhile for that to come in (aparently on back order). Just that the constantly on CEL and SLIP lights caught my attention. Figured I'd toss this up.

Ive tried a few things that might fix the problem with no luck. My car when turned on at this point is showing SLIP and VDC OFF lights on immediately, and when I push the gas the car does not respond, it sits at idle and wont rev. Ill let you guys know what we find, when we find it

When I get home this evening I'll root through my reciepts for you and try to get that information out to you. I'll probably jsut photograp the reciept so that you'll have the part numbers et. al.
Damn bro so sorry to hear... best bet would be take the ecu out and send it back to TN and get it re-flashed... I also had a Ses light and Airbag???? No clue anybody else know what it was lol... I just bought the UTEC to clear everything so I advise get a ems...

I have a hard time believeing his TB is dead. His MAF ok I guess its possible it crapped itself during or after install. But his TB? I would say try and have Turbonetics reflash the ECU again. If there is another guy with the same issue going on has he contacted Turbonetics to try another reflash? If so what was that outcome. Anymore info on his model year, time of install, etc?
I assume you checked ALL of the fuses including the ones behind the battery?
Sounds like the throttle sensor. A local guy had a similar problem. Nissan replaced it.

That is exactly the same forum post I was looking for. That is the error and that is the part that was changed on mine but he said he went ahead and had ordered the throttle chamber part. I'd assume the sensor is attached to the throttle body itself is all. Will have paperwork pulled tonight to verify.
