Here are 2 quick pics of the exhaust. Keep in mind the car is filthy and so is the Ti-sorry about the sun glare in the one pic, Ill take better clean ones later. BTW-that rear soot is from the old Injen exhaust not from the JIC....

Car looks amazing bro...what size tire is that? 285/??/19... I have 275/35/19s but would like to run a 285/35/19...I need to fix my rear camber for sure though. Its at -1.2 but it rubs a little. At -1.4 it deosn't. I think I'm going to run -1.5 in the rear...

Thanks man....they are 255/285/35 series KDWII's. I had to roll the fender with -1.6 degrees camber and this drop, but thats no big deal. The stance with these widths and offset, and the crazy tread pattern of the tires is very intimidating coming up from behind. Ill try and get better video this weekend-with my camcorder this time not just my digi pic camera.

BTW if you wanna see more shots with the 19's and slicks check this out-------->https://my350z.com/forum/media-share/134974-my-db-z-with-jic-s-volk-le37-s-bats-overlays-slotted-rotors-slicks.html

in your second video it sounds like your blowing out spark but im not too sure id have to be in yoru car to hear the detionation and see whats up. but i cannot hear the detonation in your video and it would be very very hard to try and listen for it its already sometimes hard to hear it in different cars. when i drove in red hot Z his was noticeably LOUDER then mine was and he had aftermarket exhuast

change your plugs or have you done that already. and are you throwing any codes? RED HOT Z was doing odd idle and it was b/c he threw a code and had a massive vaccume leak

Blowing out spark you mean misfiring? I do have a CEL but havent check the code yet. I have to pull the code with the ignition/throttle procedure as I do not have an OBDII code reader yet. The plugs are fresh NGK Iridium 1 step colder. To me it felt, sounded like a misfire, same thing happened to my stock plugs after a few 1/4 passes 1K miles ago...

BTW what was RedHot's vaccum? Im at 20-22in/Hg, Ive been told thats healthy/normal vaccum for our motors.

Um yeah it does.... if you run the car with 91 on the dyno and log timing and power you will get XXX values...now fill the car with higher octance and run it again. How do I know...because I actually did this...Car ran on the dyno with 91 octance...logged 371 RWHP 365 ft/lb of tq...Max advance logged was 15 degrees of timing. Full tank of 101 (yes the current 91 was drained till the car shut off). First pass same numbers, second pass timing up to 16 degrees advance, third pass 17 degrees advance. All the while power climbing. By the 10th pass on the dyno timing was fluctuating on the scanner between 17 and 18 max advance at full boost and power output went to 381 RWHP and tq was 378 ft/lb. The ECU relearns its knock correction curve for each type of octane. Ask AYNONE on the east coast who did before and afters a week apart with no changes. Laww post install 370 RWHP. One week later 390 RWHP NO CHANGES. I'm not saying its not blow out but assuming the plugs are gapped at stock or even better .035 its not likely...Especially if they are brand new..

There was a flash for the 03s built of the 03 Z that Turbonetics OWNS. there was an 04 flash built of my 04 and there was an 05 flash built off Gregs car.

I don't hear any there and again its hard to hear it unless the windows are up and everything is shut off. Or you are on a dyno...

Alberto : in my experiance plenum leak, vaccum leak or slightly fouled plug cause idle to dip and jump

So what was up with the stalling or lack of throttle input. Did you get that squared away? (replying to your PM)

What did you need help with now. Or are you out enjoying your new toy! Nice tire/wheel setup.

Sounds like spark blowout to me in the second video as well. I'm well versed in it as my car does it if I set the gain too high on my boost controller when going for more than about 14psi on ngk coppers, 2 step colder, and a gap any larger than about .032". Took me a long time, messing with alot of different factors (spark plug gap, gain, spool, gear etc) to totally eliminate it. What are your plugs gapped to?

Alberto.... You are probley also coming up on a limp code... a cel is triggers that... BEFORE THIS HAPPENS make sure you reset your ecu... go to technosquare and 350z shows how to there... should clear the code... when cleared make sure to drive safe.. or if in limp wont be able to go above 2500 rpms its SUCKS haha... get some type of Engine management and tuned. and will control the voltage from the maf. Your setup is pretty close to mine so you are running very rich.
